빌라 갈레 아틀란티코(Vila Gale Atlantico)

Lovely sunny week, great location. Marred by extensive on-site maintenance that was an unwelcome intrusion, I think they turned up the music and ‘entertainment’ by the pool to drown out the noise - tranquil escape it was not maid service was top notch, clean room, good shower and comfy beds. Overall, not bad - would consider it for a short break next time.

Well located Hotel with extensive facilities, but had the misfortune to stay when it was undergoing extensive renovation works to building and access driveway. Daily noise, dust, intrusive noise of heavy machinery and men with angle grinders. At least they stopped at 5 pm. But a tranquil, relaxing Week in the sun it was not. Room had a sea view, but overlooked the pool that had 'activities' on most of the day, usually involving a loudspeaker, perhaps to drown out the workmen noise - the Bingo was hilarious. Hotel were apologetic about the inconvenience, but got the usual shoulder shrug from reception - the Tour Operator denied any knowledge which, being Jet2, doesn't surprise me. Otherwise Hotel was comfortable, room was cleaned daily, good shower and fluffy towels - Breakfast was good - didn't use the bar or Evening restaurant service as better value/choice nearby. Apolonia Supermarket on the doorstep was a godsend! Would I return? - Long Weekend only, booked direct and with certainty no renovation works planned. Avoid Jet2 who are just charlatans.....

Kitchen was very small, and cupboards were extremely inaccessible due to being very high up the wall. to use microwave had to move toaster out of way. no space for food prep. Hotel food was very good. Staff were very helpful and kind. Swimming pool was clean and warm.

All they did for an hour at check=in was try to sell an upgraded unit for another $130+Euros. Claimed my reservation was for non ocean view, but it did not saw that when I showed it to them.Was so busy doing that that he did not even give me card necessary to use spa, or wifi info, etc. Bed was awful and back is killing me. On the positive all other staff excellent, especially Eugina in spa - great massage. Kitchen supplies sp**** - not even 1 pan or anything to wash dishes or for coffee. Great restaurants nearby - Indian, Sao Domingo, beachfront! Grocery 500 yards.

Just back from a wonderful holiday at this fantastic hotel. Everything from check in to check out 7 days later has been great. The junior suite we were in on the 4th floor was enormous with a decent sized balcony overlooking the pool and the sea. Rooms were cleaned, beds made and bins emptied every day, and we found all the staff to be so friendly and helpful. The air conditioning worked fantastically! Food-wise, there is a massive selection of food in the breakfast and dinner buffets, including themed nights such as Brazilian night meals or seafood night. The outside pool was warm with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas (plus a big tree too sit under for those who prefer the shade) and the kids pool was good fun too. Lots of activities every day including basketball competitions, bouncy castle, and painting in the kids club. There’s also a trampoline and some football goals for impromptu games of football. There is a really well stocked supermarket 3 minutes walk away, which also sells beach toys such as balls, buckets and spades and flip flops. We found that if we turned left at the beach we came across a gorgeous expanse of little caves and rock pools which kept us entertained for hours. We struck gold with this hotel and will hopefully return in the future!

This hotel was updated, clean and comfortable. Ocean views from balconies with a friendly seagull who came most mornings to visit while we ate breakfast. Staff was very nice and helpful. Nice amenities including an indoor pool, jacuzzi, Turkish bath and lounge with bar. Beach within walking distance.

12/23, Large resort , heated pool was cold, jacuzzi was broken, surrounded by private beach houses, that leads to 10 mins walk the gorgeous beach. 10 mins walk to Chinese food and other store fronts. The Apolonia supermarket was the greatest attraction. 45 min beach walk to the nearest fishing village/town. $ 7 to mall, $75 taxi- $45 car serv . to Filo airport. sunset is the most popular beach time. suggest warmer months.

Hotel is nice and well located. As I went in October, the area was very quiet which was wonderfull to have a time off. Breakfast is well served, with plenty of choices. Outdoor pool and indoor pool were working fine but i didn't use them Staff is great, in all depar**ents. I will come back

Our room, which was more like a small apar**ent, was phenomenal. The daily breakfast was delicious with a huge amount of food to choose from. Celio took exceptional care of us every morning with a smile on is face. Snacks in the bar near reception were quite tasty. Hugo, the bartender, was very attentive and had the ability to substitute drinks that were great when what we wanted wasn't available. Very nice hotel.
