레젠타 리조트 망고 빌리지 구하가르(Regenta Resort Mango Village Guhagar)

Firstly, the resort is more like a managed air bnb. The cottages are already sold and being let out on behalf of the owners. Second, the private beach is 1km away from the property. Food is OK. No complaints. Weather in May does not allow you to step out for large part of the day. Its not a bad option for a weekend getaway. Its just not what you would have in mind for a typical resort. Keep expectations low.

There is no room service, no wifi in rooms, no free breakfast.. though the cottages are well maintained, no rooms service means for tea, coffee , one has to go the restaurant and or go and pickup. Not good if you guys are charging 5-7K per 1 room per day

After checking out from the serene Rivanta Farms, we made our way to the next destination- Guhagar. Guhagar is a beach side town which is about an hour and a little away from Chiplun.  The roads were pretty good, albeit curvy and fraught with villagers and cattle crossings. So, it is always good to maintain a safe speed and distance while driving on these roads. We had opted for Regenta Mango Village, a Royal Orchid property for our stay at Guhagar. The property is just off the main road, up a hill, and quite large. The entire place is spread across 17 acres and comprises of an array of Konkani themed cottages set amidst mango and cashew trees. Fiest things first, the place is an absolute delight for birding - we could catch sunbirds, bulbuls, robins and the whole gang...We stayed in a cottage with a separate iving room and a bedroom, with a large lawn outside.. While the property is beautiful, the rooms are not as well kept, and showed their age and lack of maintenance. I believe Royal Orchid has only recerntly taken up the place from the previous management, and are in the process of making changes. It would be very helpful if the management spruces up it's act quickly on this front, because everything else about the place is nice. Food in the buffets was nice most often, and the only time we thought it could be better was the day we opted for a la carte. The swimming pool, club house and play area were quite nice too.  The staff were friendly and helpful, though we did think that they could do better with some additional training, especially with respect to housekeeping and dining. For some reason, the hotel does not offer wifi, which is a negative in today's era. The beautiful Guhagar beach is a 10 minute drive from the hotel, and a must visit when at Regenta. The beautiful Hedvi Ganesha and velneshwar temples, Bamanghal with the beautiful natural fountain during high tide and the Anjanvel forts are places that are not too far away from Regenta. Overall, a beautiful resort which we would love to come back to once the cottages are refurbished. 

Near and clean property . Well maintained. Needs to make a pucca road to reach to the property. Food options are over priced. Concept of villa stay is good for family stay. The stay is again would say over priced. Konkani food options not available.

Very good resort in Guhagar. I have been visiting for this place for last 8-9 years. It has been maintained very well. Its built and being maintained on a very unique concept and is unlike a resort filled with hustle and bustle on weekends. The food quality and taste is good and has a local flavor. All facilities are maintained consistently in very good working condition

Very serene and peaceful retreat. Loved the hospitality, food and ambience of the place. I'll highly recommend this place. The way to the place is a pleasant drive. It's 5 hours from Mumbai. The beach is 5 mins away and the beach trust me is way better than any beach in Goa. Absolutely pristine clean beach and clear waters

Room # 45A - 28th November 2023 My stay in Regenta - Guhagar was just an unforgettable trip. The cottages, the Ambience, Amenities... all's just beautiful. Special thanks to Swapnil & Gautam. Due to some reason I had to extend my stay by a day, thanks for the last moment cooperation by all the staff. The Operations were just damn smooth. Basically I was tension free for my daughter regarding the stay & food (all being JUST PERFECT!) Special thanks to Amit, Ajay, Rohan & Prathamesh for the Restaurant service. We had all what we wanted at the right place. Not to forget - Omkar, Rakesh & Pranay for the delicious food they served. Might that be simple curd rice to Chinese etc! Calculating my overall trips to Guhagar; this trip at Regenta has been "THE FABULOUS" having such a luxurious stay! Once again thanks Gautam & Swapnil for everything! (It would take pages for me to type if I keep jotting each & every single moment that we enjoyed!) See you guys soon on my next trip! Cheers!

Best place to stay in Guhagar for Family to o enjoy with Family and Friends. It's very peaceful place to enjoy nature and it's calmness. Management is very accomodative in accepting special requests. Mr. Swapnil is very good and supportive.
