Logis la Bastide de Grignan Hotel & Restaurant "La Chenaie"

A lovely 4 night stay. Excellent hosts Tomas, Christophe and their friend Chantale made us very welcome. Bedroom warm and bed, bedding, towels and shower all top class. Breakfast a great selection and dinner high quality. Would like to stay again when weather better to enjoy the refurbished outside areas and the pool, and dine on the terrace under the trees. Many lovely towns and villages to visit within 30 minutes including Grignan on the doorstep and all in lovely countryside.

OUTSTANDING hotel, location, staff, services, breakfast and restaurant. Everything was superb. The rooms and bathroom are Extremely clean and neat. There is a welcome gift and water provided. Housekeeping was daily and thorough. The staff are top notch - friendly, helpful with 5 star service. Daily breakfast is over the top, a big buffet with so many choices and all fresh. Location also great, 15 minute walk into the village of Grignan with restaurants, shops and the castle with so much history from the middle ages. Onsite parking was easy and convenient. Highly recommend. We will definately return.

Not quite sure what others see in this place, though in its favour it’s quite cheap and it’s clean. But absolutely no charm. Rooms are about as basic as you can get. Does the job I suppose as a place to lay your head for a stop over. However Grignan itself is an absolute gem.

We enjoyed two nights at La Bastide de Grignan. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good especially the breakfasts and we particularly enjoyed the cold minestrone soup as a starter to our evening meal. The hotel is well situated for Grignan and the local countryside which can be spectacular. After a long walk it was lovely to relax at the pool with a beer.

Great peaceful location. Easy to get to. On-site parking and dining. The air conditioning and pool was a must during the hot weather of July. The room was basic, but comfortable. The staff made our stay. Everyone was exceptionally pleasant, friendly, helpful and professional. A shout out to Chantel. 5 Star service. She greeted us every morning with a smile and a short chat at breakfast. Loved her! Breakfast by the way is worth the extra €. The young lady that checked us in was also very helpful. This is a well run operation. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Although we arrived at the hotel about 1 hour before check-in time, we were given access to our room. The room and hotel is spotless, beautiful smell everywhere. The rooms and public areas have very good air-conditioning. The directors Christophe and Tomas are very nice and the lady during breakfast time is also very helpful and accommodating. The lounge area and other public areas are very tastefully done. The beautiful gardens and pool area are very quiet and relaxing - if you can tolerate the crickets 😊 - but this is part of the charm of Provence. There was ample parking space and the front gate gets closed at night for security. You are given a code to access the car park and the hotel after 11pm. Unfortunately we did not get the opportunity to have dinner at Chez Elles Restaurant- we were told that the food and service is very good. Breakfast is also very good. If we return to Provence we will definitely stay here again.

Hôtel très agréable, ambiance convivial à votre disposition avec un personnel agréable et souriant. Chambre avec une bonne literie, calme avec une jolie vue sur le parc (très agréable pour un verre) et la piscine. Mention spéciale pour les produits à disposition. Le restaurant de l'établissement est très bien, plats frais et goûteux et d'un bon rapport qualité prix.

Des gens si délicieux qu’ils rendent encore plus beau le souvenir d’un voyage en amoureux La chambre est vaste et propre, le parking aisé et le village à proximité est magnifique. Faire la visite guidée du château de Grignan. Le commentaire est indispensable à une meilleure compréhension

Retour à la Bastide de Grignan, 3ème séjour en 15 mois et toujours autant de plaisir! Accueil et suivi durant le séjour impeccable, tout est propre, chambre de bonne taille avec belle rénovation de notre salle de bain, pas de bruit, très bon matelas. Restaurant la Chênaie: un délice! Merci ! Nous reviendrons cet été pour redécouvrir la piscine dont la plage et les abords ont été refaits avec goût !
