OYO 벨베데르 게스트하우스 그레이트 야머스(Belvedere Guest House, Great Yarmouth)

Absolute filthy hotel no hot water, broken site unit shower, broken filthy, smelly carpets no toilet roll holder, sick on the landing carpet not been cleaned up properly the bed, all broken at the bottom hole in the wall have pictures to show.

It was our anniversary and we decided a reasonable stay in GY for a week. I made one of the biggest mistakes in my life by booking at Belvedere Guest house and this is why: 1. The carpet in the room was so faded and never been cleaned 2. The bed linen when slept on gave an itchy sensation all the time (I am guessing there were bed bugs) 3. Basic amenity of warm water for bathing.The water from the shower was either freezing cold or boiling hot. A guy came to fix it after 3 calls to CS and fixed it for 5 mins. After he left, it was set back to square one. 4. There was no one to look after the guests at the premises. If there is a problem you need to call CS and wait for 30 mins for someone to show up or a call back . 5. The walls were stained and door knob was taped,the closet had no knob,the wallpaper came out at certain places,the toilet space was so crunched and very uncomfortable,the water from tap was awful. 6. Room was booked for 4 days,but Day 2 I decided to vacate (infact one Day 1 but since it was evening already I stayed up to next day 10 am). I got a refund of 40% of the total amount (which I am so grateful for). Now the atrocious part, the customer service kept calling me (6 times) to inform me about the refund and asked about my exp, I told them I was not happy at all and will leave reviews on the web, one of them was very sarcastic "even after we give you a refund,you will leave a bad review". Who the hell is she to tell me this. It was H&H hotels chain CS.

This guest house is disgusting!! The smell is foul and the bed sheets are changed once a month, there is sewage leaking from a pipe onto the front door step! The bed sheets are filthy and the springs were digging into my back all night! there is only 1 single pillow on a double bed! There was hair and slime in the shower tray and al in the plug hole! Saw 0 members of staff, due to stay for 3 nights but had to leave after just 1 night, I had the worst stomach ache for a week after staying here! No nets or curtains on the window so people could look in and on top of that the window latch was broken, I was petrified someone could have entered threw the window so had no sleep! drove all the way back at 7am to my location 4 hours away!! Was refused a refund! 100% avoid at all cost! Worst guest house I have ever stayed in!

Hotel stunk of sewage throughout whole stay mattress uncomfortable sink in bathroom broken shower was blocked

Clearly the management are not taking previous reviews seriously as we stayed this weekend and saw no evidence of high standards at all. Broken shower bracket, dirty bathroom, bathroom door handle held on with tape, vinyl wallpaper peeling off the mouldy walls, the only window that could be opened has a broken handle, pillows might as well not be there, no fan, no hairdryer….. all the same complaints as reviews written almost a year ago so clearly no cares given. No doubt the response will be the same as we have read here- apologise and ask us to email… what’s the point?! With the WhatsApp message at 3am!!! to both phones and the repeated phone calls interrupting our evening meal and again our lunch the following day- if the management are so concerned that we are happy perhaps have someone on site instead of a call centre and make some effort to put right the appalling state of the accommodation!

The place stank as we walked in of damp, you could write your name in the dust on the stair banister, the whole plce was dated and filthy! The bedroom window opened inwards across the bed! And then didnt actually close! No fan! The shower came out so slowly it was almost impossible to use! And the noise from other guests was ridiculous!! We got absolutely no sleep!!!

It was not situated where we thought on arrival we couldn't get into property and had to call a london number which took 45 minutes and on 2nd day the main door wouldn't open even with code this caused another call to london at our cost etc so it ruined our stay

deserted..... Electronic exit/entry system was nervy. no tea or coffee facility after first day. No soap or shampoo after first day. Liked response of what's app chat service..
