Partiamo dalle cose positive, è situata in posizione fantastica con una vista stupenda su Firenze ed è dotata di parcheggio interno. Camere grandi anche se arredate in modo particolare (poi sia chiaro può piacere o non piacere) con TV di dimensioni ridicole. Essendo i muri davvero vecchi camminando si sente l'effetto tremante sotto e intorno si sentono le voci dalle altre camere, ma anche questo ci sta perché prenotando questo tipo di struttura sono cose che ci possono stare...ah camera anche un po' freddina. Veniamo a quello che non va, a cena veniamo accolti da cameriere che non parlano una parola di Italiano che alle nostre richieste ci dicono di aspettare il cuoco, il cibo purtroppo (almeno quello provato da noi) assolutamente sotto al livello medio della zona, che propone tantissimi agriturismi o trattorie di livello superiore. Colazione la mattina seguente scendiamo a 15 minuti dalla chiusura e troviamo un ragazzo, questo almeno parlava Italiano, che ci dice che era tutto finito e ci invita a prendere massimo un caffè dalla macchinetta per poi scoprire che invece nella saletta della colazione erano ancora presenti torte e affettati, probabilmente non aveva semplicemente voglia di sparecchiare un altro tavolo o chissà cos'altro. Cifra spesa media per la camera e alta per il ristorante, visto ripeto la qualità non proprio altissima. La zona concede tante alternative quindi difficilmente torneremo ed è un peccato perché ripeto le potenzialità sono davvero alte.

The hotel is within walking distance from the Cathedral/ historical city. The hotel has parking space available that needs to be booked in advance. We had big room with view on the garden. It was quite, nice and clean. The room we had has also kitchenette. If next time in Florence I will first try to book room in this hotel.

My recent stay at this hotel was incredibly disappointing. First of all, there was a problem with the central heating system in my room, which the staff was unable to fix. As a result, I had to endure an uncomfortably warm room with both the tiles and air conditioning set to max heat. Despite my complaints, the hotel staff refused to offer me an alternative room and even tried to blame the issue on the Lego store below the hotel, which was obviously a lie. We had to have all windows open to be able to stay in the room, and to make matters worse, my room was located facing the main street, and I could not get a good night's sleep due to the constant noise. To top it all of I was discovering that my room was infested with bedbugs. I woke up with itchy marks all over my body that lasted for days. This was an unacceptable and utterly revolting experience, and the hotel staff did not offer any compensation or even apologize for the inconvenience caused. When I brought up my concern with the receptionist during check-out, he simply dismissed it with a smile, showing a complete lack of empathy and professionalism. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The issues with the heating system, the constant noise, and the bedbug infestation made my stay unbearable, and the lack of concern and professionalism from the staff only added to my disappointment.

When we went to Rome on March 23 this year, we booked a Superior Double Room in Borghese Palace Art Hotel for the next night. On March 24, we arrived in Florence by morning train and checked into the hotel at about 10. We left our things in the registration area and went to see the sights. I went to look for a hotel in the area, and my husband, cancer patient, was looking for a hotel on the Internet.Having walked 5 additional kilometers to no avail but my husband found accommodation. We walked another 17 minutes towards the train station and entered a very pleasant reconstructed modern hotel with friendly staff - the Urban Globus Hotel. By the way, they showed us a wonderful place next to the hotel - the Market Place, on the 2nd floor of which there is a series of restaurants where there is food for every taste. The owners or managers there are young guys, they were so worried that we would leave before breakfast that they left us food at the door at night. It was certainty a time of contrast.
