The hotel is perfectly located on the beach with spacious bright rooms. Beautiful well kept gardens. The staff are outstanding and all go out of their way to make everything perfect, they really can’t do enough. New Year Dec 23 was celebrated in the beach with an amazing fireworks display. Food was second to none with various choices for everyone. Special thanks to Oliver who made my partners 60th birthday special, even in the tropical rain! Our maid was wonderful, friendly & conscientious - Sweetta was just lovely and deserves a mention. From the minute we arrived exhausted they truly couldn’t do enough. We would definitely return

Excellent choice for a family hotel We were welcome by the friendly staff on arrival Shabha from the reception explained everything to us about the hotel and what our package included with a smile. The staff and chefs at the buffet and Bay Watch bar were always friendly and willing to assist at all times Special thanks to the ladies at Kids Club: Veena , Iliana , Pascaline , Samantha, and Win, taking special care of my son and always smiling. I would recommend this hotel to all. They cater for Halaal. The hotel, rooms, poolside, beach, and restrooms we're always kept clean.

The Resort is overall a good place to spend some days. The kitchen is well above averidge. The food is served and displayed on a big buffet. There is plenty of different courses to choose from, and several stations with a chef making a fresh dish for you. The service is good. You will probably meet Dharma, who cares for your well being. The hygiene is good. Everything is clean and tidy. The rooms are good. Bathroom and at small balcony. Only one thing is frustrating. The constant beat of music. Often techno or digital heavy drums. Espescially the evening event on the open bar, is noisy. It is hard to find a quiet place. It would be an idea to establish such an area for those who needs silence.

Beautiful hotel, in great location. The rooms were clean and functional, all the staff were really helpful and friendly. The pool and beach are really lovely, two great big pools and a small splash pool means there is something for everyone. I’ll definitely be going back!

First time visit with family. Very nice and cosy hotel. Nice pool and amenities. Buffet food were nice with adequate variety. Rooms were well maintained. Staff were very professional, friendly and dedicated.

Very nice experience at Mauricia Beachcomber. Kids adore the swimming pool and enjoy the meal. Staffs are welcoming. Enjoy the buffet meal- breakfast and dinner. Room needs some refurbishment, especially the bathroom.

nice stay with the family. price is high as compared for similar service and facilities at other beachcomber hotels. wanted to upgrade to all-inclusive for my room but was told that i would have to pay for all rooms booked together even though the other room was occupied by two very old persons and they didn't want the all inclusive package. beachcomber was afraid that these two old persons would 'freeload' on our package. unfortunately beachcomber does not seem to acknowledge or provide extra care for customers who have been booking with them for so many years even though i did inform them that we have been an almost yearly customer for the past decade. hotel is getting old and air con in the rooms are really really noisy. showers are also very old and would need replacement and there is a stuffy smell in the rooms. there is need for better options for breakfast and also activities for kids. for example, there are items such as minigolf etc in other beachcomber hotels. they have a kids club but with limited facilities. not much for teenagers. the only positive points are that there is really good food for dinner buffet and in general staff are very courteous.
