Over expections. Beautiful resort, amazing garden and pool. Very good value for money. Best choice if you have a car.

Beautiful location and appar**ents. However very noisy. Moving the chairs in the appar**ent (and in the restaurant) makes a lot of noise which you can hear in the whole building. A little felt under the chair legs could help to solve this. It certainly would increase the comfort for the guests.

Me, my wife and our nine year old son stayed at el Plantio for 12 nights, mainly for golfing. The Apar**ents are alright, but old and in need of renovation to be honest. We were there ten years ago, and those ten years gone do show. If you come to El Plantio solely for golf and don't expect luxury, then it's a good stay and very price worthy. The golf course is nice and fun to play. Not too challenging for low handicappers (I'm a 1 handicap) though, but enjoyable for all level golfers. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is alright, but not fantastic. The menu is rather short though, so for longer stays I highly recomend a rental car to go into Alicante or Elche for dinner. Or to visit a supermarket and stock up to cook yourselves. Or at least plan to go there by Taxi which costs around €15 - 20 one way to Alicante. The pool area is clean and good for both adults and kids.. For beach and ocean I would recomend going to Playa de San Juan which is a little further, on the other side of Alicante, but totally worth it. To sum it up: - For a golf vacation / getaway = good - Food is alright for snacks, and dining once or twice - If you expect a resort experience - Look elsewhere I can only really recomend el Plantio if you go there for Golf, or for a 1-2 nights stayover.

Lovely spacious apar**ent, clean and quiet. Excellent food in the bar/restaurant. Couple of things let it down, mainly that there's no kettle so had to boil water on the hob for cups of tea! The ensuite bathroom sliding door was coming away from the runners so wouldn't close properly and the freezer was completely iced up so couldn't be used as the drawers wouldn't open! Main good point was the bed..so comfortable, I didn't want to get out of it! We would stay here again, so convenient for the airport.

Lovely apar**ents with amazing grounds. Quiet, lovely friendly staff, breakfast was brilliant with lots of choice. Only knocked off a star as unfortunately our showers were not hot or even warm which was strange as the taps in the kitchen went really hot however we asked our friends staying in another apar**ent and they were also having cold showers. Despite this I would stay again as everything else was 10/10.

A bit run down hotel with to nice pools. The food is not to bad, but very simple. The staff is friendly enough, but did not manage to get us a big taxi. Cleaning is not a top priority! If you need a day at the pool close to airport - it can suffice

We liked the position and it was.comfortable. Beds good. Lack of hot water in the shower. No kettle.

Very rude staff would t even serve my husband some water for our children even though she was just shutting the bar it was midnight we just landed no water in the room disgusting attitude!!
