Advantages:1. The personnel all were very friendly from the lobby till the cleaning lady trying to solve all your problems 2. Minimalistic architecture give the space to breath very beautiful decorations Disadvantages: 1. Please don’t go to the restaurants of this hotel overpriced and the food sucks for two person 200 euros for a food that cost less than 20. 2. Rooms we’re comfortable but overpriced for the things that offered.

Just spent a week at Amirandes with my wife - i was very impressed, it felt 5 star from the moment we arrived. Staff are fabulous; layout and styling of the hotel is very luxurious; rooms are great - we had our own private pool which was worth the bit extra; food was amazing - lots of choice and high quality for the breakfast and dinner buffets; beaches are great; pool area is very well serviced (thx Giannis); hotel is located a short walk from a few restaurants if you want to stretch your legs (recommend The Island restaurant); hotel is close to Heraklion and Knossos - both worth a visit. We loved it. Thanks for making us very welcome

We loved every second of our one week vacation as a family of 4 (2 adults and a 2 and 6 year old). Our villa was amazing and everything we could have asked for! The views from our bedroom and pool were breathtaking, nothing more beautiful to wake up to a blue ocean and palm trees! The reception staff, the house keeping and the restaurant staff were super, super nice, welcoming and more than friendly to us and especially to our kids! The beach bar staff topped the friendliness and they took care of us and our little ones day to day and made our stay so much more fun and exciting! Breakfast was amazing, just a few things we especially loved from lot of choices of a massive buffet: fresh omelettes, waffels, fresh croissants and fresh fruits every day - everything you could have asked for! The lunch and dinner buffet was great as well, always different foods and lots of different choices for every age group, taste, and especially for people with food intolerances like myself! I have never eaten better anywhere in Greece, we simply loved it! The salad buffet was unreal, so many different salads to pick from! The cheeses amazing, and my daily highlight: the desserts!! (We didnt even try the different speciality restaurants since we didnt want to bother other guests with our kids :), but we heard that the food must be amazing - next time :)) Beach: we had thick and soft beach loungers that were reserved just for us, amazing!!! Great service at the beach: towels were re-stocked through out the day, you literally just had to show up and enjoy your day at the beach! House keeping was great, towels were changed daily, everything was very clean! Beds were comfortable, wifi worked great! All in all an amazing vacation, we loved every minute of it and can not wait to come back!!! Thank you so much, Amirandes for everything!!!

I stayed here last week on a business trip the view when u step into the hotel is breathtaking… the surroundings and beach area are lovely and so peaceful. My room … well I nearly cried. A private pool room with lounge area and the biggest jacuzzi bath!! The staff and food were unbelievable and I wouldn’t hesitate staying here for a holiday.

One word. Amazing! It was our first time at Amirandes and we left with the best memories, but also with sadness because our holidays was over. The whole area there is wonderful, but mostly the staff made our stay perfect. They treat us as their own family! First of all, we had a great time at sports facilities. We met Costas and we have to say that he is the best! He was transmitting his energy to us every day. Our room was very classy and the whole design is that what you expect from a boutique hotel in Crete. The housekeeping looked after us everyday. Thank you! And now the best part. Food! The buffet has plenty of tasty meals and many things to choose from. We didn't have the chance to visit an a la carte restaurant, but we will do it the next time! We are also very pleased with the main restaurant staff. Always willing to serve us and answer our questions, even when the restaurant was in heavy traffic. Especially Marios and Fotini were always with a smile upon their faces! We loved their positive energy, congratulations! We will come back, of course!

The Amirandes welcome is exceptional, and we immediately felt enveloped by their genuine warmth and real desire to make us feel instantly at home – nothing is too much trouble. It is the mark of an outstanding hotel when they treat their guests as part of their extended family. I can only reiterate all the superlatives that have already been mentioned in recent reviews. The hotel on every level strives to be the best it can be, always and in always. but it is the quality of the staff that differentiate it from its competitors and The Amirandes is the one to beat. Within minutes of arriving at our room the most delicious birthday cake arrived complete with candle which was a delicious start to our holiday. I am a keen swimmer, and it simply wasn’t practical to pack my aqua weights, no sooner said than done, Maria had ordered two sets for us to enjoy and was always totally professional, but you could see her genuine desire for us to be happy. We had taken the Comfort Pack, something we have never done before, and it did not disappoint as the food was varied, freshly prepared and delicious. The pastry chef needs an extra special mention – I could have dived into the individual lemon meringues; they were outstanding, as were all the baked goods. We have dietary restrictions and starting with the Food and Beverage Manager (I’m so sorry I’ve forgotten your name), the staff went out of their way to make sure our needs were met. We want to especially thank Selina and Vasa who were always such a joy to talk to and I truly made a new friend in Eleni; you are simply the best and have an open invitation to stay with us in London.

Kostas and his sports team are superb. They have activities throughout the day which is perfect if you want a combination of being relaxed but also active. Thank you. The hotel has a very elegant feel and has great options and variety of food to enjoy!

We had a great week at the hotel with our baby and 3 year old. Huge thanks to Sara and Helena at the kids club who kept our 3 year old entertained with so many activities. He loved it each morning and they were so enthusiastic, even though it was quiet season and sometimes he was the only child attending. Thanks ladies!

The hotel expierience was very good I like the Main Pool and the beach side .All the stuff is great and very helpfull but big Thanks to Costa the sports Manager that Motivate me to move and to Stas that Play with me Table Tennis.See you Soon beautiful people.
