For a family with a 14 year boy, it was perfect. We chose the Level and it was more that we expected: special restaurant, special pool, special sea view bar. The beach was ok, but the old custom of tourists to occupy the deck chairs with towels from 6.30 in the morning ( and they came to the beach at 11.00-12.00) it was not so pleasant.

This was a great choice for our holiday. From the time we arrived, to the time we left, we experienced a high level of service and accommodating staff. We choose to purchase the "the level" upgrade, which in our opinion, is a wise choice. Rooms: The rooms are very spacious, well kept and clean. The beds are big and wide and both of us slept extremly well. We purchased a seaview room, which was a good choice. The daily cleaning was very satisfactory and of high standard. The life saving air conditioning worked very satisfactory. The hotels was quiet at night and we had no problems with noise or sutch. Restaurants: The main restaurant could be very busy at times. But as we purchased "The Level" upgrade, we had the option to eat at a more quiet restaurant only for The level guests. There where a wide variety of different food to choose from, combined with daily specialities. Ex. sushi (some days). Other options to choose from were an American, Italien and bulgarian restaurants which we did not try. During the day, other options were avaliable. Burger, Pizza and sandwich, combined with a variety of soft drinks and alchoholic beverages and coffee. Pool and activities: The main pool was very nice and there we allmost allways available sunchairs. "The Level" upgrade gave access to a private and more quiet pool sorrounded by a spacious park area with sunbeds. The area also gave access to a private bar and lounge area. During the day the staff would come by and take drink orders or bring icecream when possible. The animation team made great efforts to activate any guest who wanted to participate. Water aerobics, dart, yoga, pool volleyball and waterpolo where daily arranged. Outside the hotel you had the option to explore the markeds, small shops, bars and restaurantes, if you wanted to. All in all, this was a great hotel to stay in. We experiensed no problems at all and everywhere we went, we were met by a positive and accommodation staff. We would certainly come back!

We had one of the most carefree holidays at this hotel. We chose this hotel because it has consistently held one of the highest ratings on the Bulgarian seaside for many years, and it is renowned for its constant quality of service and professionalism from staff at all levels. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly, and the reception staff were amazing and very helpful. The level of service truly matched that of a 5-star hotel. The bars and restaurants offered an excellent variety of high-quality food and drinks. The hotel has two large main restaurants providing a vast selection of fresh, well-prepared dishes, including various international cuisines. There was always a tasty variety of meats, salads, fruits, and desserts. Even as someone particular about coffee, I found the coffee to be of very good quality. The hotel boasts huge outdoor spaces, including a pleasant garden area and different types of pools. The pools were accessible at all times, never overcrowded, and conveniently located near outdoor bars. Additionally, the hotel has its own private beach area, where there were always sun loungers and umbrellas available. The entertainment programme at the hotel was exceptional, with a very professional and high-standard offering tailored for all ages. The animation team provided plenty of engaging activities for both children and adults, ensuring there was never a dull moment. The evening shows were also of top-notch quality and very professional. The restaurant staff were always friendly and greeted us with a smile. The rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated, and immaculately clean. Housekeeping was diligent, with the rooms cleaned regularly, and the outdoor areas and restaurants were also very well maintained. Tips: The hotel features several smaller, themed restaurants (Bulgarian, Italian, and American) that are open on specific evenings. The food there is excellent, but it is necessary to book in advance, which I recommend doing as soon as you arrive. Some sports activities are also in high demand, so keep an eye on the announcement board to secure your bookings. The staff speak English and other European languages, which made communication seamless. Overall, this was an unforgettable holiday at a truly high-class hotel. The outstanding service and fantastic professional management made all the difference. We can’t wait to return in 2025!

We are at Melia with a group of friends and kids. Unfortunately, the positive reviews I read beforehand did not match our experience. Here are some key issues we encountered: The hotel is enormous, and there are long queues for everything. The beach and pool area are always crowded. The main restaurant is chaotic, with people arguing and kids eating directly from the ice cream trays without supervision. Nobody from the hotel seems to care or address… Additionally, the Italian restaurant is buffet-style rather than a la carte, and despite advertising online table reservations, the system was not working for any of us. The beach bar closes at 5 PM, so if you need a drink after that, you have to trek to the main bar. The hotel does not have a beachfront, which is quite disappointing, so at least water supplies should be available all day to spare for the trouble. Worth mentioning that all-inclusive package includes local Bulgarian beverages. There is a strong sewage smell at The Stage, which the hotel needs to address. Reception people were unhelpful. When I asked to file a complaint, as guest officers are only a few hours a day available, I was given a piece of paper with the reception's email address. On the positive side, the rooms are spacious and the sea view is lovely, but considering how little time is spent in the room, this does not make up for the negatives. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

Really good service! Clean room, good food. We recommend book a table in "The Vine" and "Al dente" restaurants. It is hard to be hungry during the day. Great thanks for the animation team! It is no way to be bored. A lot of activities for children in Kids Club and for adults also - volleyball, water polo, water volleyball, water gym, fitness, Zumba, yoga and more. Candy, Eva, Marto, Edi, Marti and all rest of the team, you do amazing job! See you in the future (maybe)!

Is not a 5 star hotel. Food quality was bad. Only in Al Dente was slightly eatable. Beach and pool crowded. Near Melia beach garbage. Rooms not cleaned - dusty. Sheets not hanged and not even shaken. Elevators always busy. We appreciated the size of the room and bathroom, the balcony was also generous. Cleaning ladies spoke no english.
