房間裝飾隔斷不合理，睡覺房到衞生間有二格踏步,房間內沒有冰箱。

2樓的閣樓，很不錯，可以躺着看星星。外面就是湖，風景很好。

環境優美，乾淨衞生

Lovely smoorh check in . Lovely friendly staff. Room on 2nd floor. A few too many stairs for me. Room was a tad cold but had a good heaters. Room a tad small. Bathroom lovely but a bit narrow.. Food lovely . Nice and tasty but areas far too hot. Didnt sleep well aa bed quite hard and noise from traffic and creaky floor boards keot waking us up . Breakfast was lovely but asked for scrambled egg and got poached. All in all a nice stay

The accomodation was excellent,very well appointed and staff when present were helpful. Visit marred only by the lack of direction at breakfast. Items were not replenished and with nobody immediately available requests for further supplies had to be made via the reception desk. Such a pity to spoil an excellent venue by the lack of attention at breakfast.

Great location as only a few mins walk to Lake Windermere. Staff were friendly, however I found they were always conversing with other staff rather than giving us their full attention. They were kind enough to store our bags as we arrived early. We didn't eat dinner here as their menu had zero vegetarian mains. Breakfast was superb. We both ordered the avocado and sun-dried tomato on sourdough. Plenty of pastries, fruit, yoghurt etc to choose from too. Unlimited tea (several choices), filter coffee and orange juice. A wee gripe was that just after check-in I went online to show hubby information on the room/area, and it showed me I could've booked the hotel for that night at £60 cheaper!!! That's a fair chunk of difference. And the hotel wasn't cheap to begin with. Also, at 7am the staff were cleaning. We were in room 2 which I think was next the cleaning closet. I assume they were trying to be quiet but I thought someone had entered our room! Overall 4 out of 5 stars. Would I go back again? Sorry, no. It wasn't for us.

Hotel is in a amazing location our room overlooked the lake, the hotel was clean and friendly and nothing was to much trouble will definitely be staying there again

The room (which was supposed to be spacious) was SO SMALL that my we had to stoop to get around the bed and I am only five foot two, we had NO view in spite of the website saying we would, the room was up several flights of narrow, steep stairs. I booked a room with a king bed and got a small double 😡 The check in was unpleasant - the lady who checked us in was surly as were a few of the staff at breakfast. That being said the rest of the bar/ restaurant staff were lovely.
