알비온 호텔 글래스고(Albion Hotel)

Wonderful hotel! I am scent sensitive and this hotel suited me wonderfully. I'm so happy to have found a safe haven away from home. The room was large and lovely and they did not spray it (a request I made), there were no heavy scents in the room, yet it was fresh and clean. Not only that, but when they were cleaning other rooms, the scents were light and manageable. It was great. Like pretty much every hotel in the UK, the bedding had that slight fruity fragrance, but it was manageable for me, and I felt great after sleeping in the bed. It was very comfortable. The towels were unscented. My room (19 in the Apartments) connected with one other and scents can travel between rooms, as well as noise, but as my friend was staying in the next room it worked out just fine for me. The nights were quiet and peaceful - I did not hear anyone upstairs or outside. The staff at the front desk were just lovely and made everything impressively smooth. Cannot thank them enough! The water pressure in my room was eco friendly, but sufficient for my long thick hair. Room 19 was particularly large, with high ceilings and was elegant like the rest of the building. The location is excellent too. This hotel is right next to a lovely little creek/river, and nearby a super neighbourhood with great restaurants and shops. There is a health food grocery within 5 minutes walk. The subway is also close by. And it is a short walk to the University and a very pretty park. I highly recommend!

The location is excellent, easy to walk into the west end and very close to a Metro station. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Lack of parking was the only let down. Will definitely use again. We didn't try the breakfast as we used a near bye fabulous deli but it certainly smelt good!

I always stay at the Albion when in Glasgow as my first choice accommodation and wouldn’t look elsewhere. For the brilliant west end location in Kelvinbridge, comfortable rooms excellent service and friendly team you can’t beat it. Super value for money in Glasgow compared to other chain hotels and well worth it. I look forward to my next stay in the future as a very satisfied repeat Albion guest.

Great location for visiting the University of Glasgow. Hotel is a few mins walk from the subway station which is a 9min ride into Glasgow city centre. Lots of bars, pubs, coffee places and restaurants all within close walking distance from hotel. Bed was comfortable, room and bathroom very clean, although the pillows were lumpy and flat. No gluten free options for breakfast, but lots of places to have breakfast near by. Receptionist very helpful with directions and suggestions for vegetarian restaurants.

The Albion is a great place to stay in Glasgow. It is perfect for an overnight. We were at a concert in the west end so to have such a nice place to easily return to was a great bonus. It is friendly and spotlessly clean. It is our go to place now for overnights in Glasgow and not just for west end gigs but The Hydro too.

Excellent place to stay in Glasgow. Very clean rooms and bathroom. We stayed in several hotels during out trip in Scotland and this was one of the best stays we had in terms of comfort and cleanliness. Combined with great location and reasonable price it is hard to beat. There are lots of restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance not to mention subway station very close by. Kelvingrove Park is only a few minutes walk away which connects to at least 2 great museums if one is willing to take a stroll. We like to walk so it was perfect. Diane at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful to my husband and I. We really felt cared for at this lovely hotel.

A one night stay in Glasgow's west end for an event and the Albion was perfect! Clean, spacious and had all we wanted. Notably a very comfortable bed! Only complaint would be other guests letting the front door slam shut when leaving but we can hardly blame the hotel for inconsiderate guests. Very conveniently located for the underground.

Most enjoyable stay. Diane on reception was very welcoming and helpful. My room was warm, the shower great, the breakfast plentiful. The hotel is SO close to the underground. Plenty of choice of cafes and restaurants. I shall stay there again if I possibly can.

Lovely hotel, so clean, comfortable and central. Just off Great Western Road so lots of bars, shops etc on the doorstep. We went to Oran Mor for a gig and it was just a 10 min walk. Staff were lovely, particularly Diane who made us feel at home straight away. Breakfast was delicious, cooked fresh to order. Later check out time of 11 am was a bonus too. We will be back as was great value for money also. Thank you.
