Wow! We loved this place! Gracious, friendly and helpful staff, lovely room, excellent breakfast. Located in a charming neighborhood within easy walking distance to museums, the botanical garden, and excellent restaurants. Highly recommend!

What a fantastic overnight we had!! The building is delightful and the staff are amazing!! We were pleasantly greeted by Courtney and she looked after us during our stay!! We had massages booked within the guest house and that was a fabulous experience!! Our room was beautifully presented and was total luxury!! The breakfast was tasty and freshly cooked to our individual requirements. All quality ingredients!! We just loved our stay and is situated in a lovely area of Glasgow. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous guest house in a great location. We had a lovely 3 night stay at The Alamo. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to stay in Glasgow. We had a gorgeous bedroom and a beautiful en suite with a lovely big bath. The entire house is very tastefully decorated. Breakfast every morning was cooked to order and we thoroughly enjoyed something different each day. All the staff were very helpful & friendly and recommended two lovely restaurants close by for us to try. Both which were superb.

We loved our stay at the Alamo Guest House . We were made very welcome .Very comfortable room and upstairs room to relax in. Lovely breakfast. Staff were all lovely and invested in making guest feel welcome. Great location near the park as well

The Alamo is in an unbeatable location in the west end on a lovely, quiet street. Our room was very comfortable, but a little on the small side. The lounge/breakfast room is good. Breakfast itself is standard fare. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Oh my god! This place is perfection!!! The host/receptionist which I sadly didn’t catch her name - was the kindest and lovely soul! All staff very helpful. And location prime west end of Glasgow. The room is so regal - we had room 2, and our bath plug was broke but they automatically upgraded up to another room which was very kind. We will be back next time in the city!!! Amazing !

Very nice staff. Nice room. Excellent breakfast. Only thing that not was perfect is that it was only one quilt in the king size bed.

What an amazing find this has been. I have stayed in the majority of hotels and guesthouses in Glasgow over the years of living here but this blows all others out the water. A peaceful, relaxing and quintessentially Scottish establishment with the most wonderful and welcoming staff. The rooms are authentic, quiet and comforting. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The location is ideal, a 20 yard walk into Kelvingrove. You really do feel like you have stepped back in time here - we will definitely be visiting again.
