Premier Inn Glasgow City Centre South

All in all was a comfortable stay, a plus on the breakfast staff so friendly and hospitable. Breakfast was very good, hearty and warm. Only surprise was I had to pay again at the front desk even though I already did online upon booking. Yet to be resolved by Trip.com customer service side. I hope it will be soon and I can my refund.

Good location for a walk into town. Meals were good in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Staff friendly

Nice hotel, clean and servicable. Nice staff, pleasant and friendly. Hotel is near to town however plan your way in, to avoid the Glasgow LEZ, as I followed my sat nag and got stitched !.

Premier Inn offers a good standard of budget accommodation. But this hotel is best avoided. 1. There are no ground floor rooms and the only lift was out of order for 24 hours during our stay. My partner has mobility problems and found it very difficult indeed there were other people who were older with more severe walking difficulties and they were having big difficulties. It's totally unacceptable. The hotel should be advertised as not suitable for anybody with a walking difficulty. 2. If you travel by car, the car parking is inadequate for the number of rooms. We have stayed here a few times because the location suits us but if you arrive back at the car park in the late evening (we had no choice about that) there's often no parking left. We had to park in a too tight gap between two cars making it difficult for the driver to get in and out of either car, or drive over the kerb and park in the paved area near the reception. There's no other suitable parking near the hotel. We had the same problem three nights in a row. NB we have a small car, not a bloatmobile, but it was still difficult. 3. There is a vending machine for snacks but it only has dreadful sugary junk food. We just wanted a packet of ordinary biscuits to have with a cup of tea but no luck. The only thing that was half-way acceptable was a KitKat bar but they ran out of those so there was nothing we found acceptable for 24 hours.

The room was clean and comfortable as would be expected from a Premier Inn, The meal deal was fantastic value, the evening meal was great, lots to choose from and well cooked food, the service was also very good. The breakfast could have been better there was a distinct lack of hot food, the staff were slow and not prepared for a busy service at 10am . On a busy Friday evening there should be experienced bar staff on duty not someone who has no clue what wine is in the fridge. Overall not the best experience I have had in a Premier Inn.

Stayed here several times. Great location for O2 academy and Merchant City. Onsite parking is a bonus. Easy and quick to get to off .motorway. Decent selection at breakfast. Only Downside restaurant sometimes not open.

Room clean, bed comfy. Conveniently located just a short walk from Glasgow Cross, close to Merchant City and very handy if attending a gig at the Barrowlands. Breakfast nice. If you wanted to sightsee your just a short walk from the People's Palace.

Disappointed at customer service. Asked for my nursing wife's food to be microwaved and they refused. Claimed it was for food and person safety. Asked if I can do it myself and they said no. After much hassle they finally did.

First of all, we have stayed at many premier inns and are huge fans. Staff were as fabulous as always and the room fine. However, the quality/value of the food was so disappointing. Terrible bruschetta- mainly a mass of red onions. The breakfast was barely warm and wasn’t regularly checked like it usually is. Worst of all was the watered down orange juice.
