The hotel was a really pleasant surprise. It had a great vibe and the rooms were super comfortable. Especially appreciated that they had a room specifically set up for guests with disabilities. Everything was clean and well-maintained, making for a very relaxing stay. I'd definitely consider coming back here.

The hotel is well designed right in city center yet lively and calm at the same time.. the only downside of it is only one elevator is working for such nice beautiful hotel and I stay for 8 nights morning and night we have to stay on the lines to use the elevator but the rest is perfect

Great location and generally excellent service. Only minor niggle is that light cleaning one of the days I requested was rather cursory compared to another day.

I have stayed at a CitizenM in the past, so was familiar with the setup and what to expect. Room was small but comfortable and the location was great, especially as I was visiting Glasgow for the first time.

I love the stay here. Perfect location next to the Bus Station and day trip meeting point. City center is only cost 2 minutes and you can get what you want! Staff are incredibly friendly, the best hotel in glasgow

Had an excellent stay at CitizenM Glasgow and genuinely impressed by how professionally the team handled an issue that was similar to another bad hotel experience I previously had elsewhere. Instead of dismissing the concern, the staff were proactive, empathetic, and immediately worked on resolving the room situation. They even kindly treated me to a complimentary drink while they got everything sorted, which made a huge difference after a long day. The room itself was fantastic — super comfortable bedding that gave one of the best sleeps during my trip, and the hotel’s high-tech room features were incredibly fun and convenient to use. From the lighting controls to the overall modern setup, everything felt thoughtfully designed. Great service recovery, excellent hospitality, and a hotel that truly understands customer experience. Would gladly stay again when in Glasgow

Excellent location, beautiful decor, great room. No kettle though in the room. Overall we had a great time! Special compliments to the management of the hotel. Polite helpful staff, welcoming atmosphere. Absolutely stunning decor. This hotel deserves to be called the best.

I feel bad about this review as the staff were very friendly but it wasn’t a good stay. First of all I asked about parking and they told me they would validate parking if I used the Cambridge Street car park around the corner. This turned out to be closed due to road works and I ended up driving around one-way systems for 20+ minutes first trying to get in, and then trying to find an alternative spot. The TV in my room didn’t work and I heard another guest complaining about the same thing.  The shower didn’t have hot water at 7.30am! I left it running for ages and it barely even got to lukewarm.  Also, there was no kettle. I think this tipped me over the edge.

Had a high floor room floor 7 and the view over Glasgow was absolutely beautiful! Fabulous service from staff as well, restaurant and bar is open 24/7 so got a full meal and cocktails each after getting back from a concert around 11.30

Nice hotel in a great location! Facilities in the room could do with a bit of a refresh, but room is still really comfortable!

Good shower and comfortable bed, breakfast is amazing! I just wish the room didn't feel like container. Have a little more options in the restaurant for the dinner , something vegan be great.

Room was spotless and bed nice and comfortable. Loved the first floor area where you could get food and drinks or just chill . Food was lovely and the staff really friendly. Will definitely go back.

Quirky rooms, quite small. Great location for the theatres, queen street station and Buchanan bus station.
