good but not the best

The front-desk staff staff were very helpful. I had a suitcase delivered prior to my arrival and a rental bicycle picked up after I arrived. They provided a box, scissors, and tape that I needed to properly prepare the bike and accessories for handoff. I was disappointed in the restaurant menu. I am vegan and there was not a single vegan or vegetarian option. Most cities of size offer several options, but in general and in most restaurants, the cuisine is intensely animal based. When salads are offered, they are usually an entree, contain meat or fish, and are expensive.

Dreary, old hotel with doors creaking; cracks, scratches and peeling of bathtub, walls, flooring; air conditioning and bathroom ventilator that don’t work; very uncomfortable bed, pillows and linens; extremely dark and spooky parking garage… the list goes on. I’m not sure how this hotel hangs onto its 4 star rating. The only positive is the staff who are friendly and helpful

We had a larger room and bathroom. The location is a bit further from the beach and entertainment areas and the parking lot is very tight! I would not want to drive an SUV. Air conditioning did not work that well. We had a semi-view of the road and you can hear the cars go by.

Well maintained hotel

Comfy hotel. Littler bit far from everything but good for the price

The hotel do not feel like a Melia or a 4 star. There is damage on baths, rooms are small, facilities not well maintained. Gym equipment was old a had missing parts, no ventilation, working out for a short period and the CO2 reader will raise to 800 plus. Looking back i wish i have book an other hotel for the stay, i book this as i was specting a Melia and 4 star experience.

Not Mellià standards: we know Mellià hotels so we expected to find something similar. Unfortunately everything was old: blanket, bed, sheets, bathroom, floor...Nevertheless, the girl at the reception was very kind, earnest and cooperative.

This hotel was quite reasonably priced for the time of year and the rooms are large and clean. It is a big, impersonal hotel with its own convenient but very dark car park for 16 euros a night. The location is good: near the beach and park and about 20 minutes' walk from the old town. The breakfast was good, although it would have been nice to have better quality bread and the chance to ask for freshly made eggs.

Muy buena ubicación con vistas al parque, buena atención, limpieza. Pongo un pero a la bañera que estaba repintada, pero también estaban haciendo mejoras. El desayuno buffet era excelente y bastante abundante. Seguro que volveré y lo recomiendo.

Cerca de una punta de la playa, a 25 minutos andando del centro, un poco antiguo, muy amables, cafetería, gimnasio, se puede aparcar en las cercanías gratis, indican que hay menú del día, pero luego no hay, colchones y almohadas regular, cortinas no cierran bien, no se ve el mar.

Buena ubicación en Gijon, buen precio, buen servicio. Habitaciones con lo suficiente. Cómodo descanso, amplias habitaciones. Todo funcionaba, que no es poco. Precio- calidad muy bien. Es para dormir y seguir dando vueltas. Volvería sin lugar a dudas.

Personal amable , agradable y profesional . Hotel muy cómodo y silencioso , ideal para descanso ,paso de ser mi primera opción a mi única opción en Gijón y eso no es fácil . Totalmente recomendable

El hotel está muy bien . Buenos servicios y personal muy cualificado. Lo que no deberían dejar es poner esteladas independentistas de Cataluña en las ventanas del hotel. Que dejen el odio y enfrentamientos en Cataluña…esto desprestigia el Hotel.
