Excellent meal, wonderfully prepared and presented with expert and friendly service. Our waiter, David, was so nice, attentive and professional. We did not stay overnight, but I have every confidence that it would be a wonderful experience. Nicely maintained grounds surround the Manor House. I think we'll go back!

This is the second of Lil's adventures we have joined. We arrived in Pont-L'Eveque, France on June 11 and departed on June 19, 2024. Like our previous adventure, Lil planned every detail of our daily activities. The trip was outstanding. Our itinerary included the Omaha Beach, the D-Day Memorial, the hippodrome (Horse track) in Deauville, Monet’s house and gardens, Mont Saint-Michel, and more. I would highly recommend this adventure for anyone that wants to visit France as a first timer or to be guided through parts of France where few tourists travel. Food and lodging was excellent. Lil, being from France, has the ultimate “servant soul” and desire to share the French culture with you on this trip. His sharing is unique and enlightening.

My husband and I couldn't get away to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary; I was looking on TripAdvisor for something to do locally and came across The Burke Manor and St. Jacques restaurant. We were delighted we found them; booked The Paris Cottage and dinner reservations immediately. We were greeted warmly as we checked in and then shown our cottage. It was small but had all the mod cons and more importantly, the staff had laid out our floral arrangement, the champagne was chilling in the bucket and the chocolate covered strawberries were in the fridge. We passed a pleasant afternoon before getting ready for dinner. The service was lovely; our waiter took very good care of us and made several valuable suggestions. The food was exquisite. I have eaten in Paris and this was as good if not better. Breakfast the next morning was just as delicious though the choices were limited. I definitely plan on going back for lunch with friends and family. Wonderful experience!

This is a lovely hidden gem in downtown Gibsonville. We had the pleasure of attending a seminar there with the subsequent dinner. The wait staff was very attentive, atmosphere was simple elegance and cozy, not pretentious.. A very tasty meal was enjoyed by all. We definitely plan to go for dinner again. I highly recommend.

My wife Nd I went with another couple for wine and cheese with charcuterie boards. Kind of a relaxing afternoon. The wine was delicious, a light rose' and the appetizers were exceptional. In all it was a very pleasant afternoon. But what made it exceptional was the service. Our server, Emily, was very sweet and attentive without being overbearing. She knew when to do all that was needed to make our afternoon special. She should really be commended for that. This was not our first time here, nor will it be our last. It is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or fir an evening out.

Best experience ever. The Inn Keeper and staff make your stay so special and welcoming. The food was delicious. Their quiche is the best I’ve ever had. The grounds and landscape are beautiful and peaceful. The pool is an extra bonus. Highly recommend!
