The hotel was really nice, everything really modern and with all comfortables. Cleaning ok, maybe something to improve but nothing bad. Breakfast very good, they had everything in buffet. Position good, no complaints at all!! The only annoying thing was the light of the security that all the night was green and red, really annoying for people that like to spleep in the darkness.

The junior suite room was in fantastic condition and to a very high standard. Private Pool wasn’t heated so that was a waste of hope as only a winter-bather would have enjoyed it. Breakfast was varied but service chaotic and inexperienced. Took 20 minutes before we could order our coffees, after having waited another 20 minutes without receiving them we simply left. Overall impression is that someone with means decided to go into the hotel business and lavished on build and finish but forgot to get experience in hospitality.

The reception staff are friendly and check in was straight forward. They allocated the room I had requested (a balcony at the front of hotel.) Room is spacious, with comfortable bed and clean. The furniture is nice and the facilities include an espresso machine. Water is provided along with plenty of tea, sugar and espresso capsules. It would be nice to have normal coffee, as I enjoy a larger coffee in the morning. The room lacks a full length mirror and a small table and chairs would be nice for the balcony. The shower has good water pressure and large towels are provided. Breakfast is of a good standard and plentiful. Better organisation is needed though. There is not a permanent member of staff controling the entrances to the breakfast area. This meant, even though we gave our name and room number on entering, a waiter then asked my husband again for his room number again. He was in the middle of a mouthful, couldn't remember which number it was and felt singled out, as other tables were not being asked for their numbers. My husband had to call me over to give the staff our room number. (He didn't even check with the register to confirm.) If they have a problem with people getting breakfasts without paying, then they need to block one entrance and have someone stand at the podium throughout breakfast. It was very embarrassing. Overall though, I would recommend this hotel.

Nuovissimo albergo nell isola di Gozo, molto vicino alla spiaggia di Ramla bay. camere ampie dotate di ogni confort (anche se mancava il frigobar) Colazione ricca e varia sia dolce che salato. Brigitte alla reception parla italiano e si è dimostrata molto disponibile.

I had a very nice experience at the hotel. Food was great, the room was big and very clean. I do recommend every bit of it.

It is located in a quiet local neighborhood. Linens smell so fresh, and the staff are super friendly. Breakfast is a highlight, tasty and fresh-cooked. Thank you the gentleman in the restaurant. We will definitely come back

Great Stay! The hotel is spotless and the rooms quite big. The breakfast is amazing.

I enjoyed our stay at the Segond as the hotel is very clean and modern. Staff have been helpful and street parking is relatively easy. However, it is anonymous and the hotel could be located anywhere. It lacks character and any distinctive details. The hotel offers an English breakfast, cereal and yogurt station, and some sad cheese and ham slices across the other side of the room. Some effort could be done on this front and try to offer guests typical gozitan delicacies. I asked for a gluten free option and all I was offered were five slices of white Schar bread. The food on display could have been easily enjoyed if the chef offered to provide made to order food to avoid risk of contamination. Furthermore no signs of allergens were present at the buffet. Overall it's a good hotel but the management is lazy from a strategic perspective. It is a pity since visitors deserve a more holistic experience during their stay in Gozo.

Excellent in every way! This newly built boutique hotel is located in the quaint village of Xaghra. It is beautifully set in a maltese type of a square. As soon as you step in you'll feel that joy of welcome! Not just a typical one. Receptionists will go that extra mile to help as well as they are highly good mannered and courtious. Beautifully decorated with spacious rooms throughout. Lovely decorated inside which will give you the needed rest. It is well clean and tidy. Breakfast is top! Whatever you're up to they provide! Everything is cooked on time and hence fresh and crispy. Hats off to the kitchen staff and restaurant staff. Highly recommended and this for sure will not be my first time there. Will sure return. Thank you Alejandro and Carol and the maltese receptionist which I can't remember his name along with the other front office staff. You're all a Gem and a credit to the hotel. Chapeau!
