Donauhotel Lettnerhof

Do not stay at this hotel!!! We were put in a basement room and told that despite the fact that there were only 6 people in the hotel the manager wouldn’t upgrade us unless we paid more !! The restaurant was closed. We had to eat at a camp site which closed at 6

This hotel was as near perfect as you can get. Really comfortable in all aspects but, above all, the family who run it are so generous and delightful that it was all so easy. When Storm Boris hit and Austria was being seriously battered by terrible rain and storms, we were able to leave early and return to the UK and, once again, the family were more generous and helpful than at any hotel we have ever stayed at. I only hope that the storm did no damage to the business because they deserve every possible success. Thank you so much for a tremendous - if shorter than hoped - rest and enjoyment.

Horrible: we booked in december 2022, through Booking, it was paid and confirmed, it was 45 euros. Just 3 days before our arrival day (and we were already on holiday): they wrote (only in German, they told through Booking the weren't able to speak English, and they didnt want to solve it through Booking, which i think is very not nice! Two options: cancel or pay 185 euros. We didnt agree, so they just cancelled our Booking. And then Booking said we wanted to cancel it, so it's very disgusting business how this went.

Wir haben hier übernachtet während unserer Radtour nach Wien. Ich muss sagen. Es ist ein Top Hotel. Wir hatten ein Zimmer in den unteren Räumen gebucht, bekamen aber ein Upgrade auf ein Businesszimmer. Vielen Dank dafür. Zum Hotel: Sehr geschmackvolles Haus. Für unseren Geschmack tolle Ausstattung. Schöne saubere Zimmermit schöner Größe . Toller Frühstücksraum mit Donaublick. Tolle Auswahl mit allem was man sich wünscht und benötigt. Restaurant hatte leider Ruhetag, wir hätten hier gerne gegessen. Schöner Abstellraum für die Fahrräder. Abschließbar und Werkzeug für evt. Reparaturen vorhanen. W-Land und Fernsehrer funktionierten einwandfrei. Personal und Service waren super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns mega wohlgefühlt. Vielen Dank für den angenehmern Aufenthalt.
