Beautiful building that used to be a monastery, still has the spiritual atmosphere. The church attached to the complex rich in decoration. Very calm , great breakfast buffet. Clean and comfortable beds and spacious room. Very helpful staff at the reception.

My experience at the Ayurveda retreat hosted at JUFA Hotel in Carinthia, Austria, was nothing short of exceptional. Abin, Prerana, and the entire staff provided an incredible level of hospitality, from the reception to the waiters, chefs, and housekeeping team. Their dedication truly enhanced the overall experience. The hotel's location within an old monastery building added a unique charm and contributed to a serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. Abin and Prerana's Ayurvedic treatments were beyond amazing, and their empathic approach made each session a deeply rejuvenating experience. We recently stayed at the JUFA Hotel Stift Gurk as part of our adventure to see the F1 Grand Prix at Red Bull Ring Spielberg. Closer hotels were sold out so we settled in at the Hotel Stift Gurk. The hotel is located in the sleepy town of Gurk. An old church complex that found a second calling. As part of the complex one will find the beautiful Dom of Gurk, which still welcomes its parishioners. The area is very quiet and relaxing. The hotel is nice and clean, breakfast service was authentic Austrian, which we found charming and filling. The room was spacious for the four of us and clean. Renovations maintained the charm of an old monastery while upgrading the rooms to modern times. In the back of the hotel is a large garden and play ground for kids to climb and zip line around. The hotel staff was very friendly and spoke English. A lovely place for those who seek peace and relaxation and who love to hike, bike and explore. While we did not eat much in the area due to our focus on the F1 Grand Prix about 45 miles away, we found the local Wirtshaeuser authentic and delicicious. Our group has visited Jufa Hotel Stift Gurk during a sporting event in the region. It was realy pleasant experience for us. Very friendly personel, fulfilling all our needs like earlyer breakfast, later dinner, placing our equipment. The rooms are large, very clean and the whole hotel is really pleasant place to spend time in. Iwant to thank all the personel and wish that we would come back some day in the future. Trotz Regens der ganzen Tage, wurde der Aufenthalt sehr erholsam und abwechslungsreich. Das Essen war eine Wucht, der Wellnessbereich gediegen, das Zimmer und das Bad sehr sauber. Das Personal überaus freundlich. Einfach toll. Einmal in einem Stift wohnen, das hat schon was. Ausserdem sind die Ayurveda Massagen spitze.

Spontan gebucht wurden wir herzlich empfangen und bestens umsorgt. Die Ausstattung neu, schlicht, gediegen, wertig, sauber. Wir kommen gerne wieder und möchten dann mal eines der angebotenen Ajurveda Packages ausprobieren. Preis/ Leistung einfach spitze!

Grosse, sauber Zimmer, minimalistische, aber schöne Ausstattung Tolles Ambiente, das Hotel ist perfekt in den Klosterhof integriert. Beim Frühstücksbuffet gab es für jeden Geschmack etwas. Einziger Kritikpunkt, die Kaffeemaschine, sie musste immer wieder gewartet werden und es kam zu Wartezeiten. Alles in allem perfekt für einen Kurzurlaub
