A very welcoming and warm experience indeed. Nicky and Kev certainly put a lot of effort and energy into their house. The rooms are large, bright and clean, with a generous tea-making station. The beds and linens are sumptuously comfortable which, together with the extremely quiet location, guarantees an excellent night's sleep. Breakfasts are as variable as you like, with the very full Scottish a considerable challenge :-) Nicky and Kev provided us with a packed lunch every day, and took very good care of us - well beyond normal expectations - when we returned late in the evenings. If you are visiting this very special part of Scotland I can heartily recommend that you stay here. You'll be glad you did.

Easily one of the best BnBs we’ve stayed in and there have been many over the years. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and breakfast was divine but it’s the little added extras which make the difference. For example, the very very generous hospitality tray, the wine glasses, the ample, fluffy, white towels, the more than adequate toiletries. No skimping here! Our stay was a pleasure from start to finish and we’d definitely stay again if in the area. Highly recommended.

The best guest house we have ever stayed in. Immaculate accommodation. Huge room and ensuite. The attention to detail was second to none. Delicious breakfast with a range of options. Nikki and Kevin are friendly and extremely accommodating. Kevin's knowledge of the local area meant we had no problems sourcing what we wanted from this trip. Can't recommend this guest house highly enough.

I’ve read all the other reviews and I just cannot say more.This is the best guesthouse we have stayed in, from the immaculate spacious bedroom ,perfect en-suite ,lots of quality towels, cleanliness ,attention to detail, great breakfast well presented and cooked .What more can I say only to suggest that our hosts open a school to teach all aspiring guesthouse owners how to do it properly.

The best guest house we've ever stayed in. Wonderful greeting and assistance with our luggage. Our room had the wow factor being both spacious and very nicely presented. Huge bathroom with luxury fittings nice fluffy towels and immaculately clean. Large flat screen TV on the wall with a comfortable 2 seater sofa, a good range of tea, coffee and biscuits, the owners have thought of everything. The breakfast was fantastic, freshly prepared and cooked to perfection and there was a choice of fruit juices, yogurts, cereal, jams etc. The hosts were a lovely couple and we could tell straight away that they took pride in their home and were only too happy to share it with us. Lots of nice little touches like a freshly baked cake for us on our first day return. With two pub/restaurants at the end of the street it was the perfect location for a relaxing weekend. We very much look forward to staying here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Woodlyn guest house Nikki and Kevin are very friendly and welcoming hosts. The bedroom we were given exceeded our expectations nice and roomy, comfortable and tastefully decorated we had an enormous ensuite too and everything was immaculate. We enjoyed a very tasty veggie breakfast and Kev kindly gifted me a pot of his homemade marmalade- 'Thanks again'. We both loved the quiet location with good car parking oppposite and the area has several woodland trails in which to run or walk in. Great for those who like to keep up with a little bit of fitness even when on holiday. We would definitely visit again when next in the area and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely B and B to anyone. Job well done. How every B & B should be.
