Great service with staff working really hard for a hotel cutting obviously corners on the cheap. Breakfast used to be good - stayed previously, but today poor cheap processed food, sausages pink and tasteless, no butter only cheap spread. Shower broken with end broken off and cold, only got Luke warm water after a lot of turning loose knob. Main reason for staying here is the swimming pool to break a long journey on A1 but arrived to be told it was closed and not available but no one bothered to email us in advance despite 5 emails confirming booking.
Great easy parking location just off A1
Left at 11 am with drinkers outside shouting with appalling language on their phone and other guests said it had kept them awake.
Booked a queen room to find its only a standard double bed and felt misled by description, asked to move rooms which was easy with queen bed as requested but only difference between the rooms was it did not have a coffee table! Will not be staying next time.
