무스카텔 델라미어 센트럴(Muscatel Delamare - 200 MTS from MG Marg)

We stayed in this property from 12th to 16th March 2023. We booked a studio room with Mountain view (included complimentary breakfast) through online reservation portal directly from Muscatel website and faced no issues. The hotel is just 200m from the city centre - i.e. - MG Marg, and you can just walk (10 minutes at normal pace) or take the stairs (walking is more convenient). Receptionists here are wonderful and very friendly - we never felt that we left home. I would like to specially mention about Ms. Anjana and Mr. Deepak Thapa with whom we interacted the most during our stay. All the other staffs who took care of us regarding room service and in restaurant were amazing. They went out of their way and arranged us a late lunch (almost at 4pm) as we faced severe hailstorm during our day trip and returned without having lunch. The Studio room which we booked is large - with a duplex system. The room is of wooden flooring (they provided us slippers as well) and contains a nice balcony with large windows. The upper floor also has long window. The view is magnificent - if you are fortunate enough to have a cloudless sky, you can enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Kanchenjunga right from the room. The bathroom is big, contains a bathtub, western toilet system and a geyser. Toiletries kit is provided - you'll get soaps, shower gels and shaving kits as well (but no dental kit). Electric kettle ***** with tea and coffee options is available. Food quality is particularly good. You won't get much options - but for us it was enough. Complimentary breakfast also has limited options - Bread & Butter/Jam, Paratha, Puri & Sabji and Eggs. But again, for us this was sufficient. If you want to try different food options, you can always visit restaurants in MG Marg. Also, they serve authentic Sikkimese cuisine on request (has to be ordered 2 - 3 hrs beforehand). We didn't have time to try that but it's definitely worth trying. For travel options, they have a travel desk vailable for local sightseeing as well as other points worth visiting (like Nathula Pass, Tsongmo(Changu) Lake, Namchi, Ravangla etc) and also pick up and drop options from Airport or Railway Station etc. Desk in-charge Ms. Deeki was very helpful and helped us to book transports for all our travel destinations and also arranged the passes required to visit Nathula & Tsongmo. Overall we enjoyed our stay here to the fullest. We shall definitely stay here when we visit again and recommend others to stay as well. Thanks!

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. WE FOUND WORMS IN HOTEL RESTAURANTS WATER BOTTLE DURING OUR STAY FROM 19-21 MAY-2023. WHEN WE REPORTED THIS ISSUE TO HOTEL STAFF THEY TOLD SOMETIME IT HAPPENS WITH RO WATER AND NONE OF THE HOTEL ***AGEMENT/RESERVATION TEAM WAS AVAILABLE TO TALK TO US ON THIS ISSUE FOR 2 HOURS. MY 5 YEAR OLD SON HAD DRANK THAT WATER DURING BREAKFAST AND HE HAD STOMACH INFECTION AND VOMITTING FOR NEXT 10 DAYS. I AM LOOKING FOR HELP ON REPORTING THIS ISSUE TO FOOD & SAFETY DEPARTMENT OF SIKKIM. I HAVE VIDEO FOR THIS ISSUE RECORDED IN FRONT OF HOTEL STAFF AND CAN SHARE AS AND WHEN NEEDED.

Let's cut to the chase: General BF- No buffet BF except when the Hotel is full. On a normal day your BF will have typically ,sandwiches, Poori and coffee. Though the spread is limited, the taste is fine What I liked: 1. Location - It is very close to MGMarg which is just 5 to 7 mins by walk 2) Friendly staff Not so good a) There is no lift in the Hotel. If you have elders, think twice b) The views from the hotel were just okay. I wouldn't say it was great. c) Parking facility is non existent d) Though MG Road is closer, you need to climb multiple steps to reach there e) At least pls keep railings in the studio room

Had a wonderful experience @ Muscatel Delamere Central. Its location is in a small alley just near the MG Road however the interior of the hotel and the polite staff are just fabalous. We stayed there for three nights in one of the attic room with a wonderful view of the mountains and clouds. The staff was really very helpful and the food was also good. The attic room had a staircase and a triple bed at the top, so the stay was really comfortable. I would loved to have a more varied breakfast menu though but not complaining. I would loved to stay in the hotel in my next visit to Gangtok

Quite a decent property. Very close to MG Road but Hotel is in a small gully. Staff is very polite and friendly. Not ***y options in Breakfast but we loved few items that were served. We stayed in suite room. It was clean and spacious but has no view. Hot water was available all time. Overall good stay and we enjoyed it.

Stayed here on 16/05/22 with family. A very good experience with this hotel. Location is an added advantage with great hospitality. Rooms are spacious enough, clean with very good interior. Hope to visit you again.

The hotel is near to mg Marg and staff are very polite and professional and budget friendly , receptionists bhavana and Richa are very helpful it has restaurant and rooftop bar facilities available, I will visit again surely
