빌라 루즈 패밀리 고메 & 올 익스클루시브 호텔(Hotel Villa Luz)

We got there and had to wait about 2-3 hours for our room to be ready got to the room and it was a decent size and looked okay then I checked the bed and it was so uncomfortable I thought it would be fine then after a few days I was waking up feeling bruised from how bad the bed was. The food was the exact same stuff everyday was okay some of it some of it was inedible the breakfast was standard all inclusive breakfast not too great. The hotel is right next to the beach which is good but nothing else about there’s a few clubs that were empty all night no restraunts near by and the shops you had to walk about 25 minutes to find a decent one with some snacks. Not great for location at all closest things to do we’re in Benidorm not to far of a drive but would be expensive if you had to taxi. The entertainment was pretty boring apart from the parrot show that was actually quite good but if your looking for a hotel that you can eat in day and night and snacks and get a good night rest this is not the one

The hotel was great. Really clean premises kind staff members, good food. When we had a problem with the drain in the shower, I struggled to return to the room before the maintenance man was there. The beach is also just perfect. Clean, conveniently located, great sand and clean water. We traveled as a family of 4. Children aged 6 & 10. All enjoyed ourselves a lot. I had the best Sangria ever in a little bar by the small pool. The drinks are great quality. The kids clubs were not their strongest point. We felt the activities were a little difficult to join if you were not a Spanish speaker. Having said that we really did have a wonderful time over all. Gandia town is a short bus trip from just round the corner from the hotel. The esplanade walk is great too. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and place for truly relaxing and non problematic stay. Thank you.

Lovely hotel. Very clean, great staff and great service. Close to the beach but not much else unless you are prepared to get a bus or taxi. There is a cigareete machine at reception but nowhere else to get any. You will need euros for this. No way to get any cash at the hotel and no cash machine close by. Otherwise food was amazing, pools great.

The hotel rooms were nice and the beach was beautiful. The drinks were really good great cocktails and bottled beer, also had snacks available which was a nice touch. The Halloween entertainment was very good the children really enjoyed that. But we were extremely disappointed with the rest. The hotel was closing early November so they started shutting things down while we were there. The pool was only open for 4 hours a day and you could only use the sunbeds for those hours, that is unacceptable. The pool snack bar closed, and they were clearly using up all the food they had, the choice of food was really limited. The communal areas were not cleaned every day so they were dirty. I understand that hotels shut for the season, but guest should have the same services available up until the day they close. Disappointed

I have stayed in October 2023 , along with family and friends. Special mention and thanks to Andrei from reception who helped us check in smoothly after midnight with a long queue of guests waiting as he was by himself . His help was much appreciated during our stay as well. We had paid for Ultra All inclusive however I would have liked to see more traditional Spanish food also seafood which was barely seen during lunch and dinner. In a city where local citrics are grown you should provide more fruit such as easy peelers and oranges during your meals to encourage local businesses.

We stated here for a family holiday Oct 22 and found the hotel met every expectation. Rooms were a good size and very clean and modern with TV, WiFi fridge, safe and lots of space for clothing. We opted fir the all inclusive ultra package which gave us every option, free access to gaming rooms, kids activities, etc etc. The beach bar is a fantastic asset for this hotel and sitting on the beach drinking cocktails is a dream. The beach is very clean, cleaned every evening and beautiful sand. The sea is warm enough and only a slight gradient into the sea so very safe for the kids. Beach also includes volley ball nets and toilet. The food was perfect albeit a bit of a hunt fir spoons cups and glasses at busy periods. The staff are very friendly and helpful though mostly Spanish speaking only so a brush up on basic Spanish would help. To its credit its a fantastic hotel with great staff and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.. Maybe next year :-)

Great time was had by all for our family of 14, age range 2 to 87! Clean and beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. There is a beach bar, which is part of the hotel, nearby which is within easy reach and the beach went on for miles! All inclusive was wonderful and included breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and wide range of drinks. With kids pool, playroom and kids club, 2 swimming pools, slides and virtual games room children of all ages had a great time. The Animation team seemed to be entertaining day and night and worked as hard of the rest of the friendly staff. This hotel has largely Spanish families in and more Brits are "discovering" it so its reputation as a great place to be seems to be growing.

Great holiday, clean and friendly. Bit cold to use pool (beginning of April). Lovely breakfasy and fabulous choices...just very busy. Walking distance to good beach and shops
