MOI 갈레 포트 by DBI(Moi Galle Fort by Dbi)

Four of us dropped in a couple of times for beer, cocktails and wine. Very friendly vibe. Sat outside and watched the world go by in a busy shopping section of Galle Fort. A couple of Australian wines available at reasonable prices . Some great artwork lines the walls

We stopped off here for a drink while exploring the Fort. We were greeted by one of the staff (?manager) who was so friendly and was happy to chat to us about Sri Lanka, the food and best places to visit. The staff member offered us some food to try, which they were cooking up for the staff, & of course we couldn’t say no. The food they gave us was incredible - which included, coconut roti and seafood curry sauce. So yummy & so friendly!

We had a great time with historical touched hotel. My GF loved the Seafood shawal. Staff is very freindly. Our 3rd night was Moi Koggala on lake shore. I am planning our Anniversary with them. The tropical fruit was awesome . We loved the fort theme. The room was very clean. As a world heritage site the simple decor is attractive. Thank you Moi staff.

We had high expectations of this small hotel located in the heart of Galle Fort, but were disappointed. We had booked two rooms. One on the upper floor was very poorly furnished, with nowhere to sit and no place to hang clothing, and the washbasin was in the room rather than in the washroom. The otther room was beyond tthe reception and cooking area and had no window, while being very small as well. The beds were reasonably comfortable. The breakfasts were strange: the first morning it was tasty and full and sufficient, the second morning it was very basic and uninteresting, completely different. This was such a basic hotel that charging $80 per room was somewhat outrageous. Half this amount would have been appropriate.

We tried the popular shovel rice at a restaurant in Sri Lanka and it was absolutely delicious. 😍😍The portion size was perfect for four people and the interior of the restaurant was impressive. 🫶 The kitchen was spotless and we highly recommend this place for both food and drinks. The ambience was fantastic but the only downside was that there wasn't much space inside, which could sometimes be troublesome and affect the overall vibe of the restaurant. ✌️ However, the quality of the food and drinks was great and reasonably priced. 👍🍀

Clean bathroom and facilities. Beds were comfortable, linen was soft and clean, and location was great. Air con wasn’t the greatest provided a doona instead of a top sheet which was odd with the heat, and the bass from the stereo of the restaurant downstairs/attached to the property was quite loud making it hard to sleep between 8 and 10pm. Staff were very kind and helpful.

Absolutely wonderful stay at MOI Galle Fort! The food was simply delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The fresh drinks added to the serene and calming vibe, creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. Highly recommended for a delightful getaway!

very nice friendly guys work in this beautiful place. very stylish hotel. everywhere clean and nice. the hotel also has a restaurant where you can have a very tasty meal and large portions! Recommend for sure!
