깅강가 로지(Ginganga Lodge)

이것은 2020년 대유행 이전에 그곳에 머물렀던 Ginganga Lodge에서의 두 번째 긴 체류였으며 우리는 무엇을 기대해야 할지 확신이 없었습니다. 환대 산업이 직면한 어려움에도 불구하고 이전의 높은 수준의 숙박 시설과 요리가 여전히 존재하는지 확신할 수 없었습니다. 리뷰는 그렇게 제안했고 우리도 마찬가지라는 사실에 안도했습니다. 집처럼 느껴졌고 억누를 수 없는 Indika와 그의 유쾌한 아내 Dineshi는 우리를 매우 환영하고 가족처럼 대했습니다. 그 동안 Indika는 북쪽에서 온 힌두교 이미지, 동물 및 인간과 같은 비유적 골동품 조각의 열렬한 수집가가 되었습니다. 어떤 면에서 당신은 작은 규모의 박물관에 있는 것처럼 느꼈지만 모든 공예품은 세련되고 전략적으로 공용 공간 전체에 배치되어 놀라운 분위기를 조성했습니다. 우리의 디럭스 룸은 또한 수집가의 항목을 추가하고 유지 관리되었습니다. 그는 대유행 기간 동안 직원을 유지했으며 그들의 충성심과 양성의 감각은 명백했고 그들이 우리의 요구에 매우 세심하고 존중했기 때문에 우리의 숙박을 향상시켰습니다. 특별한 감사합니다. 인디카가 없을 때 유능하게 관리하는 마히르 롯지가 마하모다라 강에 바로 위치해 있기 때문에 우리는 크리샨과 함께 두 번의 일출 보트 조류 관찰 사파리를 할 수 있는 기회를 가졌습니다. 보트까지 도보로 매우 편리합니다. 숙소 구석구석에서 흘러나오는 다양한 새들의 노래는 말할 것도 없고 항상 존재하는 물 모니터 도마뱀 및 보라색 얼굴 잎 원숭이와 롯지를 공유했습니다. 다양한 모양과 색상의 헬리코니아 식물(이미지 참조)은 이 초록빛 정글 낙원의 토치 생강 또는 도자기 장미와 멋진 붉은 대나무는 말할 것도 없고 신선한 주스, 신선한 과일 및 계란 호퍼 코코넛 삼볼과 달 카레가 있는 시조 스리랑카식 아침 식사는 아침 식사의 주류입니다. 저녁 식사를 미리 주문할 수 있기 때문에 우리는 2주 동안 머무는 동안 3일 밤 식사를 선택했습니다. 어느 날 저녁 어시장에서 점보 새우를 먹었고 또 다른 스리랑카 카레를 먹었습니다. Indika는 열정적이고 역동적이며 열심히 일할 뿐만 아니라 상주하고 일류 서비스에 높은 우선 순위를 두는 겸손한 손길의 소유자입니다. Ginganga Lodge는 Galle Fort에서 20분 거리에 있기 때문에 하루 중 언제든지 자신의 Tuk Tuk를 타고 앞뒤로, 심지어 Unawatuna Mirissa와 Hikkadawa까지 운전할 수 있으며 그의 요금은 매우 합리적입니다. 여행 고문에서 별점 1점을 받았고 Galle Fort와 충분히 가깝지만 여전히 때묻지 않은 조용한 오아시스로 남아 있다는 것은 놀라운 일이 아닙니다.

This is my third visit to this lovely place. We went there to celebrate my parents' anniversary and we celebrated it in a wonderful way. We really enjoyed it. Their hospitality was really good and the food was amazing. We would like to mention about Mr.Indika specially and about their friendliness. I really love the architectural design and the calm environment. Hope to visit there again.

We had the most amazing few days at Ginganga Lodge. The place is beautiful and so relaxing. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Everything is done to perfection, the food, cleanliness, comfort - all of it! The lodge is approximately 10-15 minutes from Galle centre, but an easy tuk tuk ride away, which can be arranged by the staff. This means you get a perfect balance of being surrounded by nature and beauty , but are in easy reach of the centre.

Wow, little piece of heaven, The most amazing boutique hotel, 5 star property and service the best we stayed in on our travels through Srilanka everything is perfectly designed surrounded by wildlife, fantastic staff and food beautiful pool area, wish we could of stayed more than 2 nights do not hesitate to book!!

From the greeting on arrival to the leaving our experience was spectacular. Clean, well run and operated with such a charming team. Very well prepared and cooked food. Excellent room, in size and discrete location, facilities and amenities. ( akin to western standards) Very clean and operated pool, although a few extra sun beds on the grassed area over looking the river could be considered as not everyone wishes to sit regimented around the pool deck. We so enjoyed the natural feel in the plantation and seeing such close up wildlife ( many monkeys and monitor lizards) was a treasure to behold. Certainly the best of our month long tour in Sri Lanka. The early morning boat safari and cooking demo were notable memories.

An absolutely superb well run establishment, excellent amenities in a cared for environment, top to bottom this is without doubt a great asset to Galle area providing tourists like ourselves with an class above accommodation & attention to detail, room was beautiful & quirky with everything required for a week long stay, no tv but no loss, quietest possible nights sleep on a very comfortable bed, sexy outside bathroom & shower area & probably the best shower gel I’ve had in any hotel anywhere! Now the food, breakfast is a delight plenty of choice for all tastes, & the chef is on duty all day & evening so top quality food available at most times, probably should have eaten here a bit more as other guests told us dishes they had had were brilliant, not overly expensive just a fare price to quality/ quantity ratio as was our whole stay. The area around is a swamp, now don’t be put off as this is the over riding beauty of it, wildlife everywhere & the river at the bottom of the garden - well, just book a spotting cruise on it & see for yourself. All in all a class act, want Galle area accommodation, you’ve just found it go!

Wow this place is amazing. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Galle. A beautiful lodge set amongst nature. You can sit back and admire the view and listen to the sounds of nature. You can also be visited by monkeys and monitor lizards. The staff are fantastic and nothing is too much for them. The owner Indika is so friendly and helpful. On our first day took me to a hairdresser's in his tok tok. The rooms are spacious, clean and beautiful. The breakfast is delicious as is the evening meal. Thank you all for a wonderful stay and see you next year for sure 😊

Can’t think of single thing to fault about this place. The room (more like a villa) we stayed in was stunning with an amazing outdoor bathroom. The staff are so lovely and nothing is a problem. Indika (the owner) is often around and is happy to organise very reasonable tuk tuks to/from town (or further…we did a bike ride and Indika took us there and picked us up. The food was delivered and the presentation was always immaculate. I also took the kayak out for a quick paddle down the river. Although I didn’t see much wildlife, it was so peaceful. Watching monkeys play in the trees as I relaxed by the gorgeous pool with a cold drink is something that will remain me for a long time.

Our stay at Ginganga Lodge exceeded all expectations. Indika and his team are just fantastic, the quality of the Lodge and rooms are outstanding. When you arrive you step into an oasis of calm, you know you are in a luxury hotel. The attention to detail in the decoration is extremely high and yet it still feels authentically Sri Lankan, very cleverly done. There are only 6 rooms, all individual bungalows set well away from each other. The terrace and pool and gardens are great for just relaxing in the shade or sipping cocktails. We ate dinner here two nights and it was some of the best food we had locally, try it. Breakfast was truly excellent, fresh juice, beautiful platter of fresh fruit, traditional curd and then whatever else you wanted. On top of all this Indika sorted out all of our local travel needs for a very reasonable price as well as our transfers. The Lodge is a bit too far to walk into the Fort area but the cost there and back in a tuk tuk til is only about £3.50 so well worth it for the quiet location. The Lodge was spotlessly clean and the room was serviced to a very high standard every day. Honestly don’t look any further just stay here it’s amazing.
