Being a Motel 6, it's difficult to lodge a complaint when it's the age old: "You get what you pay for." And in this instance, I certainly did. The shower room had wall chippings all over the tub, yet there was still a nice little towel and shampoo set laid out on the side. I had to wonder.... was this set out before they drilled into the wall, or after? Because either way it wasn't cleaned up. I've stayed in motels like this before, and obviously if you're on the road, you stop when you need to. Yet, this had to have been one of the worst I've seen. None of the lights were even plugged in and I had to drag the bed out to access the outlet.

Great stay at Motel 6 Albert Lea! Affordable price, cozy rooms, and friendly staff. Highly recommend for a budget-friendly and comfortable experience.

No hot water, so didnt get to shower. Stained towels and hallways smelled like pot and garbage. Sagging bed. The two ladies working the front had excellent customer service though and were very nice.

******* didn’t relay handicap room booked, had us originally on the 3rd floor. Had a handicap ramp through a non handicap opening door that opens out and difficult for a wheelchair bound person to do on their own in order to get to the first floor rooms. Rooms were not properly accessible for bathroom or shower use either.

The hotel was filthy. There was only one washcloth two bath towels and one hand towel they had stains all over them. We endedup.going and purchasing our own towels. The hotel.is mainly a place for people use as a place to live. Our beddin had hair and stains on them. After our trip i always *****.the bed to make it easier for housekeeping. Upon finding two fitted sheets the bottom one had piles of sand and dirt. Upon arrival there was a issue with our check in. And im.still.trying to resolve the cancelation and having to.repay formour stay when travelicity took the payment back on 7-22-23. Overall the hotel is someplace i wont stay again. Management doesnt.care.

Bedside lights did not work. Bathroom door was cracked so that it would not latch or lock. Ceiling creaked as the people on the floor above us walked in their room. Entry ways smelled like stale smoke. On the other hand, check-in and check-out were easy and staff were friendly.

Nothing in the room worked, bathroom was moldy, cigarette burns in comforter, phone didn’t work, foul smell in room and hallway. We canceled and the staff refunded our money. They were very nice

My comment was for lack of cleanliness. There was urine in the stairwell. The halls smelled like an ashtray. Our room had water on the floor from the fridge being defrosted.

Very dirty.smells like animal feces and urination and room does not work as intended
