The view from our cabin was amazing. Rhonda and Carl were very nice and helpful. We brought our two dogs and they were greeted with treats. Cabin was clean and cute. The breakfast with fresh eggs and fruit was delicious. Will definitely be returning.

Carl and Rhonda provide the perfect location to get off the grid! The cabins are cozy and well equipped. The mattresses comfortable and the fresh eggs and accompaniments for breakfast delicious! We were here during the eclipse and we loved enjoying pot luck dinners and making new friends!

The experience is outstanding in every way. Carl, our host, is a class act. We enjoy his friendship and hospitality in every way. The breakfast provisions are really really good. Sipping a glass of bubbly on the roof deck is special and a great memory. We look forward to traveling to the cabin in the future.

From start to finish, staying at Walnut Canyon Cabins is an extraordinary experience. Carl and Rhonda, the resident proprietors, are among the friendliest, informative and considerate hosts you are ever likely to meet. Absolute attention to every detail in the cabin: cleanliness of interior furnishings, spaces and windows; complete setup in the kitchen; bathroom with great shower; and wonderful queen size bed. The supplies for breakfast are from local sources and of high quality, a wonderful way to begin each day.

Everything was wonderful, breakfast makings were in the fridge. Close to Fredericksburg for shopping and restaurants. The beds were comfortable. We stayed in the Tree house which had an upper deck to sit out and watch the wildlife. They even provided deer corn to throw out for the deer to eat. When you check-in you will be offered refreshments. I will definitely go back.

The Woods cabin offered up an amazing canyon view! We enjoyed the farm fresh eggs and biscuits. The cabin was clean and stocked with the essentials. We enjoyed feeding the deer and cows. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the hill country.

It was a second time there. Carl and Rhonda are great hosts. Cabins were clean. Comfortable. And with all the things needed for a nice couple stay. Fresh breakfast is always an amazing addition to this beautiful place in the heart of Fredericksburg. They recommended great places to spend in town, plus hot tub and the sky gazing roof. What else can you ask for a gate away with your loved one? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Carl and Rhonda are genuinely nice, caring hosts. They went above and beyond. They made me look good with flowers, wine and chocolates all waiting to surprise my wife on her birthday get away. Cabins/views/solitude. 5 Star review definitely.

We are repeat visitors to WCC. Carl and Rhonda are always welcoming and wonderful hosts. "Our" cabin is the Milky Way cabin. It is always clean and fully stocked. This time was especially wonderful because we celebrated our anniversary. Carl and Rhonda were able to coordinate and procure some flowers, chocolates, and champaign for me and had a lovely display for a sweet surprise for my wife. We love making the trek out to the cabins for a peaceful, secluded, and relaxing time.
