Wow!!! What a place. Not only is it stunningly beautiful but Dino and his team are the most friendly hosts we have ever come into contact with. It felt like you were invited into their home and made to feel like royalty. The property is charming, in a perfect location and I couldn’t recommend highly enough.

The location is perfect, just 2 mins walk from the smarter end of Franshoek, this country house hotel is a hit. Our room (which was a suite) was large, airy, with super king bed, 100% cotton sheets, plenty of windows and a modern bathroom. The view in most directions is stunning, opening out, unhindered onto the mountains. Load shedding was taken care by a combination of solar battery and generator, it worked well, the TV and lights remained on, but no hair dryers or sockets could be used. The lounge was a good place to read, especially when the log fire was lit during the colder evenings. Breakfasts (served between 8-10) are a delight – the house speciality is Eggs Benedict in various forms, they all tasted wonderful – and we ate on the terrace, with its magnificent view, once the weather warmed up. Dino is a good manager, always visible, interacting with the guests as well as and fixing things if they weren’t quite right. We understand that there will be some new cottages being built over the next year, but we will return in Feb 25 to the existing rooms. A great stay.

One of our most favourite places we have stayed in the world. Beautiful accommodation, terrific location, great breakfast and wonderful staff. A 12 out of 10 from us! Only hope we can go back one day.

Cape vue country house is truly magnificent. It isn’t the first time we’ve stayed and the standards are just as good as previously. Situated so close to the Main Street that everything is within easy walking distance Dino very kindly organised a transfer from Cape Town and back and basil the owner helped organised dinner at Epice. Room 1 is beautiful with a private terrace leading directly to the pool. Since our last visit Basil has now produced his own cape Vue wine which is really good and can be found in the honesty bar at a very reasonable cost Breakfast is perfect with a choice of egg options, fully cooked or local babooties which you have to try. Cannot recommend highly enough and look foto our next visit

This is a perfect place to stay. Beautiful house with lovely rooms. Breakfast served beautifully by Dino and his team on the terrace overlooking the mountains. The staff were so friendly and helpful. It is only a 5 minute walk to the centre and we liked that as it was quiet place to stay. The pool is pretty too.

Absolutely perfect experience. This charming guesthouse is immaculate. The view from the pool area is the most beautiful I have ever seen. It is so peaceful, but still easy to walk into town in 10 minutes. Bedrooms and bathrooms are beautiful and comfy. The staff are lovely, the breakfast and the view on the breakfast terrace was incredible. 100/10.

Set in a vineyard with breathtaking views of the mountains, this place is charming. The location feels very remote, but you can walk to town, and the Franschhoek wine tram, in 10 minutes. Our bedroom was a little small, no room for comfy chairs, but the foam bed made up for it! Plus the hotel's common areas, both inside and out, made us feel right at home. Loved the honor bar - we had drinks there every evening before going out to dinner! Good breakfast, friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Dutch style boutique hotel set in the grounds of an immaculate vineyard. Deeno and all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Lots of choice at breakfast which is served overlooking the grounds and mountains. Located a very short walk into Franschoek (less than 5 minutes). Our room was beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfy. A bottle of wine from the vineyard was also left for us which was a lovely touch. Will definitely be back.

We travelled to Cape Vue as part of our honeymoon trip to SA from the UK. The country house was fantastic, offering perfect luxury, fantastic breakfasts and close proximity to Franschhoek town centre ( a few minutes walk). The area felt very safe and secure with helpful and friendly staff. The pool area was great with stunning views of the mountains.
