Alltshellach

One of HfHolidays' lodges, located near Glencoe in the Scottish Highlands. We stayed for 3 nights and joined hikes on both days of our stay. Guided walks of varying levels of difficulty are offered Weds-Mon, and self-guided walks are available -- with printed and laminated directions -- at any time. Breakfast, a box lunch and dinner are all provided. Breakfast and dinner are in a communal dining room, all guests eat at the same time. The food is not fancy, but tasty and filling. Breakfast includes continental as well as cooked to order hot foods. We stayed in the newer part of the lodge where the rooms are clean and adequate, but not the reason you come here. It's the walking in the Highlands that makes this such a special place.

Lovely small country hotel in beautiful setting. We spent a very enjoyable 10 days at Alltshellach as part of a tour of the Highlands. Lots of interesting things to see for day trips. Despite the challenges of reduced staffing, Andrew, Bridgit, José and the culinary team looked after us really well! Delicious meals, including the 5 course Chef’s Surprise dinner!
