라 바스티드 세인트 조지스(La Bastide Saint Georges & Spa)

The hotel and grounds are beautiful and our room was wonderful with a small terrace. The pool area had plenty of chairs and we tried the small warm indoor pool & jacuzzi which was very relaxing. My partner had the breakfast which he rated very highly and we had dinner which was stunning. However, downside was the fact there was no-one to be seen at all apart from the cleaner. Nobody came down to see if we wanted drinks, or check if everything was ok. As for peace and quiet, this was ruined by a family of 4 adults and one child using the pool and grounds as a running track, bombing each other in the pool, kicking a football close to my sun lounger, playing badminton and shouting and cheering. Our one day of relaxing which this stay was for, was completely ruined. No-one from the hotel came out to speak to them. On complaining, it turned out they were not even guests. Seemed funny that they knew exactly where everything was and came fully equipped with towels etc. so must have done the same before. We were told that our room was upgraded as a consolation, which was funny, as we booked a superior double and that’s what we were given. No consolation. On sitting on the terrace later, a fire alarm went off somewhere in the garden. Again no staff to be seen. It wasn’t until a guest appeared, holding a child who headed for the reception to find someone, did the receptionist follow her to sort the problem out. This is a serious safety issue. We spent a lot of money on 2 nights for the facilities and guarantee of peace and relaxation, which we didn’t get, completely ruined by free loaders being uallowed in, who, I am sure will tell all their friends to do the same. Management take heed. Very disappointed.

This hotel is set in beautiful well kept garden surroundings. The owners are on site ensuring the highest attention is paid to their guests and all the staff follow this ethos. Dining in the restaurant with its' open view of the surrounding county side adds a magical charm to the evenings.

This is our fifth stay at this delightful hotel and with each visit we love and appreciate the welcoming staff, the beautiful surroundings and the excellent rooms and breakfast, even more. The beautifuly maintained gardens overlooking the surrounding countryside add to the overall experience of calm and tranquility. Looking forward to the sixth visit…..

This place is truly a hidden gem. The room are updated and clean with nice amenities. The spa service was superb, particular Corin. The owner of the resort was very gracious and warm. She made us feel very at ease and looked after. The inhouse restaurant Casa Gia serves great food, matching the gorgeous valley view. The hotel is well located. We drove all around lavender fields, sun flower fields and wineries. We would love to come back. Highly recommended!

We unfortunately only got to spend one night at La Bastide Saint Georges but wish it could have been longer. The hotel is just amazing. Wonderful location and spectacular grounds. Walking distance to Forcalquier which is a really pretty town. We stayed in Amandine which was essentially like a mini villa on the end of a terrace as part of a Voyage Prive deal. It looks brand new so I think these rooms are a recent edition. A small terrace with table and chairs, small area of grass and two deck chairs. The room as air con, large double bed, TV, Wi-Fi, tea/coffee facilities, fridge and a huge wet room shower area. Really nice. Great pool area and large area of grounds with various sun beds etc. The restaurant area is amazing and we had our welcome cocktail on the terrace with lovely views over the surrounding countryside. Breakfast (also in the restaurant area) is superb. Loads of choice at the buffet from sweet to savoury and runs until 1030. Staff were lovely and really helpful. There was some confusion about the pool (heated) it seems it opens at 0900 technically but can potentially be opened earlier by prior request (which it was during our stay). My partner had a 30 minute massage which was very good apparently. If I was being exceptionally pedantic my only gripe was at checkout when we noticed the price of the massage was €60 and not €55 as previously advised prior to our stay. It appears the employee sent us the tariff for last season via email so an innocent mistake. The monetary difference was immaterial but out of principle it would have been a nice gesture for the hotel to acknowledge the error on their part and honour the lower price. We will definitely return, one night is simply not long enough to do it justice.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. Absolutely enjoyed it! Our room was spacious, clean and well maintained. There is a garden patio as well. The property has a pool and sauna. And lots of outdoor seating areas to relax and enjoy the perfect weather. There is a restaurant and bar on the property. Great food and cocktails! Wifi connection was strong and stable. Service was outstanding. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We felt welcome and at home. The hotel is located within driving distance to town and surrounding attractions. We came to see the lavender and sunflower fields. Lots to see and do. We highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for 1 night and had a good stay. We really enjoyed using their indoor pool and jacuzzi spa. Their open lawns and views from the hotel are lovely. Rooms are decent. Overall we had a good stay. I don’t think they have 24 hour service , because when we returned to the hotel from dinner we had to punch in a code to enter the hotel.

located on the height of Forcalquier, this hotel is in the geographically heat of Provence, very convenient to visit from there all the POI os the region. the hotel offers parking slots, a vast territory with swimming pool, bar, restaurant (very tasty with italien chef), and a very friendly staff. You can even have the chance to be welcomed by the owner )) Room are modern, spacious, well equipped (board+iron) and very pleasant. I will stay there again !

very nice place, peaceful with a nice view, parking is 1 min to the room, very good breakfaste, we had a nice moment , the quality of the room eqiupment is fine, the only defect is the room doesn,t isolate a lot the noise from the neibour ......2 coffee dose and 2 bottles of water supplied only for the first day which cost nothing, but is minor doesnt affect we enjoying our stay ......the restaurant is not efficient at all, we arrived at 19h30! between the starter and the main course we waited 1 hour, we waited again 20 min but the dessert is still not coming, we finally went away and paid for the non arrived dissert. 非常好的地方，安静，风景优美，停车 1 分钟到房间，早餐非常好，我们度过了愉快的时光，洗漱用品都是欧舒丹的，唯一的缺点是房间没有很隔音， 来自外面或隔壁的噪音......另外仅在第一天提供 2 个咖啡胶囊和 2 瓶水，剩下的几天都不提供，但并不影响我们享受住宿...... 餐厅感觉不好，我们最早到，前菜和主菜之前间隔了一小时，等待时间特别长，套餐的甜点后来不要了直接结账走人了
