더 애비 리조트(The Abbey Resort)

방이 그리 크지는 않지만 매우 깨끗하고 침대가 매우 편안합니다! 포인트는 호텔에서 주말에 다양한 가족 활동을 제공하므로 아기를 동반하기에 매우 적합하다는 것입니다! 실내 수영장도 훌륭합니다. 야외 수영장은 현재 운영하지 않습니다. 또한 호텔에있는 두 개의 레스토랑도 추천합니다. 음식도 좋습니다!

We only stayed for one night which was definitely not long enough. The room was nice and clean and the beds were very comfortable. Each villa has its own outdoor pool, which is pretty amazing. We got there too late to use but we were able to use the indoor pool. My one and only complaint was the hot tub was lukewarm. We're not able to explore the entire resort, but we did go to the west bar which had an amazing piano player/ singer. The marina area was beautiful. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We will most definitely be coming back to stay longer and partake in the activities put on by the resort. I do wish I could've brought my dog but I understand.

The place is great for families with kids!

I had to deposit my luggage in the lobby and then drive to a distant parking lot and trudge back through the slush and snow to the lobby. We had quite a bit of luggage including a cooler, so I asked the clerk for a luggage cart so I wouldn’t have to make multiple trips from the lobby to the room and leave the rest of my stuff unattended with strangers. The clerk said I could not have a cart, I could only employ the services of a bellboy, and only a bellboy could use a cart. I asked if this included an expected tip and was told yes. Being a self sufficient person on a budget, and the room already ridiculously overpriced, I declined hiring a bellboy. The room was small, clean, didn’t stink, nice bathroom, no microwave, uncomfortable fold out bed couch, somewhat deformed mattress on king bed that gave the impression of being on an incline rolling me to the edge. No microwave. I thought there was no refrigerator too, didn’t discover it was hidden behind a wood panel until it was too late at check out time. The snooty refusal to provide a basic luggage cart soured me on this place. Also, I hadn’t visited it for 45 years, and in the meantime some ghastly and unfortunate “remodeling” had trashed the once fine architecture. The original dark wood rustic beams had been hideously and amateurishly painted over with inappropriate white paint. The original health spa rooms with steam and dry saunas, exercise equipment, and massage tables had been gutted and destroyed, replaced by a dismal and completely abandoned kiddy pool. Diving board had been r Ed moved, the hydrotherapy pool had been ripped out and replaced by a squiggly shaped hot tub thing, and the original poolside views to the outside vista had been obliterated by the addition of a pinball arcade area. The quiet original stateliness of the pool was ruined by the addition of a large screen playing childish cartoons with a high and disturbing sound volume. A tragic demise to a once great resort, and an abomination to the original once tasteful architecture. Not the kind of experience one would hope for in a lake side resort.

The resort is beautiful and the winter rates are so affordable! The reason k didn’t give 5 stars across the board is because it was freezing in the hotel the entire 24 hours we were there. The actual room was warm but the rest of the hotel corridors! Halls, locations, restaurants were freezing as if they didn’t want to turn the heat up! Are things a little uncomfortable!

I’ve been going to this hotel annually for 12 years and since the remodel it’s gone downhill. The beds and pillows are no long plush and comfy, especially the pillow - they are cheap foam and extremely uncomfortable. The bar of soap in the bathroom is no bigger than a half dollar coin - not sure what we’re supposed to wash with that. Food at the casual Waterfront restaurant is inedible-they couldn’t even get a grilled cheese right. The upscale restaurant called 240 West now has a very limited menu and the food is mediocre at best and very pricey. It also didn’t escape us that the martini glass is also smaller with the price having gone up. TV wasn’t working properly the entire weekend. The indoor adult pool and spa are still great. Lastly, the Queen beds are actually doubles, referred to as “hotel queen”. Likely switching this annual girls trip to another location.

As always Wisconsin didn't disappoint, the Abbey was great the downstairs' bar was great, a big shout out to Carlos who did a fine job.

This resort is nice but the indoor pool is freezing. Thats one of the main reasons we went so the kids could swim and we left a day early because the pool was so cold.

We went to the Abbey Resort for my husbands birthday. It was a very relaxing time. Though I would have enjoyed the pool/hot tub more without the hundreds of kids. Perhaps there should be something put in place twice during the days hours for just adults? Other than that it was beautiful resort and the services was top notch! Thank you!
