To lead off, I have stayed in other ”boutique” hotels and was not impressed. Based upon my visit here, I was very pleased and am compelled to sing the praises of this one. The first thing you notice about the hotel is that it appears to be brand-new. The lobby is open, spacious and welcoming. It is modern without being over the top. The desk personnel was friendly, helpful and attentive. Although I did not have a car, I noted that the parking lot was spacious and well lit. Its a small point, but the elevators were quiet and quick. The room was the most comfortable and quietest room I have ever stayed in. There was no external noise from outside or other rooms. The HVAC system was efficient and quiet. The bed was large and extremely comfortable, with big, fluffy pillow and welcoming blankets. There was plenty of storage space with a decent sized closet (with two bathrobes). Having two free bottles of Fiji water and salted caramels upon my arrival was a nice touch. The added chocolate for my second night was a touch I haven't seen in a hotel in years. The room was well lit, with plenty of outlets and a nice work desk located near the kitchenette area with conventional outlets as well as USB charging ports. The fitness facility was also well lit and laid out. The food and drinks at the bar was generous, relatively inexpensive and well prepared. I noted that many of the customers were locals, not staying at the hotel, who, judging by the conversations were regulars. If I need to be in the area again for business, I would definitely stay here again and, given the opportunity, check out their hotels in other locations.
