Hotel Montreal

Excellent value budget hotel. Location is great. Everything you want to see is very walkable. Hotel is spotlessly clean with everything you would want-air con, hairdryer etc . They don’t do breakfast but have an arrangement with the fabulous Hotel Adler. Biggest plus point is the helpful, charming and cheerful staff. Especially the evening receptionist who deserves a customer service award.

Small welcoming hotel at incredible budget price. Cosy, neat , clean , modern room with tea facilities and big tv with Netflix options etc . I know some people have said their room was more dated but I had a very modern junior suite. It had a crisp white double bed and it also came with two extra beds and plenty of room so it’s a good option if friends are coming , I can imagine me and a couple of of my girlfriends having a fun stay . The bathroom was big with a great shower and as it was January the towel radiator in the bathroom was heavenly (also used it to dry my hand washed underwear which was useful 🙃) Thermostat for heating or air con very simple to use as I just put a blast of warmth on before bed and that’s all I needed. Not much view as it’s on a side street but just perfect location 5 mins from Firenze main train station and 10 mins walk from many attractions such as Piazza del Duomo . I love that in Florence everything is about ten mins walk from everything and you never need cabs or buses in the centre . The hotel manager / front desk is delightful and welcoming so it’s like coming home to a kind uncle. I felt very safe. I hope whoever reads this also has a wonderful stay in Florence , I will say the steps inside the bell tower and the Duomo are not for weak knees or a feint heart , takes about 20 mins of steep small stone steps to get to the top but if you’re feeling fit, the view is breathtakingly worth it !

If you’re traveling to Florence by train, this hotel is perfect since it is literally 3 minutes away on foot. Most turisti attractions are reachable on foot in about 15 minutes. The hotel il located on a street with some very good restaurants. As many others have already said, the only rooms serviced by the lift are in the first floor. Keep in mind that the reception is closed after 8 pm, after that time the lift is also closed so there are two flights of stairs to climb to get to your room. Another detail is that the bathrooms are particularly small. Both things were not an issue for us personally, but keep them in mind as it might not be ideal for someone with limited mobility. The hotel is very clean and the room itself was very comfortable, just like what is shown in the pictures. Breakfast is not available at the moment due to COVID restrictions. The staff is extremely friendly and we will definitely go back!

Buon albergo vicino alla stazione e alla chiesa di Santa Maria Novella e a pochi passi dal centro. Stanza gradevole, pulita e accogliente,molto silenziosa. Personale gentile e premuroso. Rapporto qualità prezzo buono. Ottima sistemazione per chi sceglie di arrivare in treno.

Hotel ben curato, personale gentilissima, pulito e vicino al centro. La consiglio. Parcheggio disponibile, ma per chi come noi vuole stare fino alla sera dopo check out, può parcheggiare al garage Europa che e convenzionato con hotel.

Ho scelto l'hotel Montreal rispetto a numerose altre proposte che Firenze offre per la tipologia della stanza, viaggiando con due adolescenti ho prenotato una Family Delux che dall'immagine sul sito appare come due camere comunicanti, quindi ho preferito la privacy ad altre strutture piu' economiche o con servizio colazione. Ovviamente mi è stata data una quadrupla cioe' una stanza con 4 letti tutti vicini allego foto. Quando ho fatto presente solo a titolo di chiarimento visto che da 4 viaggiatori siamo rimasti in due causa influenza, per due gli spazi erano garantiti e non ero affatto adirata, ma ho trovato giusto far presente che le immagini sul sito di booking non sono corrispondenti e creano delle aspettative che non vengono appagate, mi è stato risposto che le foto sono solo pubblicità e che ci sono anche i fiori nelle foto non per questo il cliente si deve aspettare i fiori in camera. Se per questo nelle foto ci sono anche accappatoio, ciabattine e kit di cortesia ma ovviamente non ci sono se non pagando un extra forse. Come letto in altre recensioni anche il mio frigo bar era vuoto nemmeno una bottiglietta di acqua in conclusione un alberghetto senza infamia e senza lode, una camera normalissima, saponette e bustine per il bagno doccia e asciugamani cose che si trovano in tutti gli alberghi, cortesia : il saluto quando entri ed esci e sinceramente mi sembra il minimo, unica eccezione il deposito bagagli, comodo ma da non influenzare la mia scelta di consigliare la struttura o di tornarci.

Abbiamo alloggiato in questo hotel il 17/06/22 in occasione del Firenze Rock. La posizione dell'hotel é davvero strategica, ottima per chi deve prendere il treno la mattina dopo molto presto, come nel nostro caso. Il personale é molto cortese e disponibile, difatti siamo arrivati un po' prima del check-in e ci hanno consentito di lasciare gli zaini nel deposito bagagli e di utilizzare il bagno per darci una sistemata. La stanza seppur molto piccola era ben pulita e fornita di kit di cortesia. Unica pecca affacciava su una strada molto popolata di notte e pertanto molto rumorosa.

Albergo tutto sommato nella media anche se in termini di pulizia ed accessibilità mi sarei aspettato di più. Per quello che abbiamo pagato ci sono altre opzioni nella bellissima Firenze. Da rivedere anche gli arredi nelle camere tropo obsoleti.

L' hotel è veramente in posizione strategica: vicino alla stazione e a due passi dal centro. Abbiamo scelto una camera al primo piano ristrutturata, dunque con mobili nuovi e bagno rinnovato. Sì è rivelata confortevole e funzionale alle nostre esigenze. Una nota di merito va al personale, che si è rivelato sin da subito gentile e disponibile. Ottima la possibilità di lasciare i bagagli prima del check in. Il prossimo anno, per Didacta, sceglieremo di nuovo questo hotel.
