Booked two rooms for one night. Stayed here as we wanted to visit the outlet mall and next day back to the airport. Hotel charged Euro 25 for early checkin, we reached hotel at 07am and by 0815am got one room for an excess payment of 25. Hotel charges for the morning airport transfers and this is something which is not good. Breakfast is very average and starts at 0630am. By taxi it’s like 20 euro from the airport. Rooms are small but comfortable. It’s clean and free from any issues. Shower cabin is very small but fine. Romano castle outlet mall is 30 mts from here and by taxi one way is 70 euro, we booked via GetTransfer and got one way for 35 and return 40. Chargeable mini bar and a safe deposit locker is available in the room. Toiletries and hair dryer also was available. There is a Chinese restaurant and some grocery shops near by. Overall no complaints but we prefer next time to stay closer to the airport or in Rome central

This Hotel is one of two Hilton’s next to the airport. This one is slightly farther away from the terminals but has shuttle that runs every 15 minutes. The hotel was very busy when we stayed there. The hotel restaurant/bar was full during both dinner and breakfast. The few waitstaff had difficulty and it seemed as if they couldn’t handle the amount of diners. At breakfast there were so many people trying to use the breakfast buffet that the staff could not keep the buffet stocked or the juice and coffee makers working. It looked like the hotel didn’t do a good job anticipating the amount of food that needed to be prepared. Of course that’s not the fault of the waitstaff it’s a managerial problem. Other than the restaurant, our stay was good. Our room was clean and adequate. The front desk was helpful and courteous.

I stayed there only one night. To get to the hotel you have to take a shuttle what will cost you 6 Euros (12 Euros two ways airport - hotel and hotel to airport) ...The hotel by itself is not bad even if it looks a bit gloomy inside and cold. Stuff is very attentive and observative. However one thing which made me very disappointed is their restaurant. I went there for lunch, took Cesar salad - 12 Euros. The portion was very big but the salad by itself was worse than you buy it ready-made in the market. Loots of lettuce with 5 pieces of chicken (soft crust on top means it was 2 days old) and mayonnaise dressing. Really? For 12 Euros salad? I can't believe they couldn't make and effort and present it better. Maybe it was because of the private buffet and nobody cared so much of my presence.

Max, the receptionist, gave was so warm and friendly! He walked us to our room and made us laugh during our conversation. This is that last hotel we stayed at in Italy and we saved the best for last. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were a decent size.

A very good, clean and reasonably priced hotel to spend the night as close as possible to Fiumicino/Rome's airport in case you need it. It's a very short drive from the airport, which you can either do by taxi, by shuttle bus or, as I was also told, by public transport. In my case, I took the shuttle bus, which is a minibus that stops in front of Terminal 3 (International Arrivals). But let me tell you that it's not easy to find its stop, as you must cross the road in front of Terminal 3 and reach a "sidewalk-island", which has a blue railing, where there are some hanging white signs with the names of different hotels (Mercure, Marriott,...), which also organize shuttle buses from the airport. The Academy Hotel doesn't have any sign hanging on that railing, but its shuttle bus stops -if my memory still works- where the Mercure Hotel sign is. The evening shuttle bus schedule from the airport to the hotel is: 18:50 - 19:40- 20:30 - 21:20 - 22:10 and 23:00. In regards to the morning shuttle bus schedule from the hotel to the airport, it runs at 04:00 - 05:00 - 05:55 - 06:35 - 07:15 - 07:55 - 08:35 - 09:20 - 10:00. If you are travelling alone and use the shuttle bus, then the price is 10€ each way. But if you are more than 1 passenger, then the price for each of you is 8€ each way. In both cases, you pay at the reception (the shuttle bus must be booked at the reception the day before departure, but it is not necessary to book it when you arrive). That said, please write to the hotel to get the most updated information about the shuttle bus. With reference to the public transport, it seems that Cotral buses run from the airport to Fiumicino town. However, I don't know how often and where they stop in Fiumicino town. I only found where Cotral buses depart from outside Terminal 3 (see attached pictures). Now, concerning the hotel, it's a very well-maintained building, with a very modern interior. Rooms are spacious, functional, very clean and well-equipped, while the ensuite bathroom is modern, spacious and very clean too. The staff was kind and professional, wifi worked very well and the breakfast was a good buffet, although I don't remember any hot dishes. I hope to have the chance to return to this hotel in order to also explore Fiumicino and visit Ostia Antica archaeological site (the harbour city of ancient Rome).
