핑걸 베이 홀리데이 파크(Fingal Bay Holiday Park)

We paid premium prices to camp next to a bin and the kept awake all night by partygoers the music went well after 3 and gatherings outside our campsite of adult men on a skate board roaring up and down the road. The camp kitchen was filthy. I would not recommend it. Terrible when we had experienced so much beauty on the Tomaree Coastal walk. I wouldn’t rate the customer service either. Our group of 4 will not be back.

Staff where loverly cabins were very clean. Overall fantastic place to stay will definitely be back

We stayed in a standard cabin. It was spacious and comfortable and very clean. It was located among trees & not up against other cabins as is so often the case with other caravan parks. The queen size bed was the most comfortable and supportive not like many caravan park cabins that we have stayed in where the mattress was very hard. It is a short walk across to the beachfront that is patrolled by surf life savers. There is a walking / bike riding track across the road.

This is a well positioned park opposite a beautiful beach and the drive thru site was great for the motorhome, the reason for the 2 star review was the filthy state of the ensuite. Paying over $100 a night for a site I at least expected a clean toilet and shower (ensuite toilet had the usual paper seal which showed it had supposedly been cleaned). As we were a late check in and the office was closed we had to clean and disinfect the toilet and shower using our own supplies before anyone could use it. We had just arrived from a stay at Shoal Bay Holiday Park where we also had an ensuite site, which was perfectly clean as was the beautiful entire park.

Originally booked 2 nights. Only to then be told that we we’re not entitled to a refund or credit by the very blasé office staff, citing this was standard practice as they’d been holding our site for us, so a refund or credit was not an option apparently. I called Port Stephen’s City Council after both myself and my husband had attempted to reasonably request at least one nights refund. I explained to Taryn ( who I was directed to) our situation, she attempted to assist us by either offering another site, otherwise she said she’d see what he could do to assist. She called back soon after and offered a one night refund, which was very helpful. We no sooner arrived and realised the boom gates were right next to the site ( which we were told was opposite the office) but, not right next to digital boom gates. There was a constant stream of traffic, people coming in and out, a bank up of harassed people cued up at the boom gates as people we’re having difficulty getting in due to their code not working. Phone calls being made, loud conversations trying to get the code. This continued throughout the night. It wasn’t feeling peaceful, so we thought we’d take a stroll after dinner, this wasn’t pleasant. In the tent site area there were multiple gazebos set up, with large groups of young adults. They had loud music, drinking games set up and were using really foul language. We felt for the families with young children nearby. There didn’t appear to be anyone responsible for policing this inappropriate behaviour. Overall a really unpleasant stay, which was very disappointing. Won’t be back.

A lovely neat park across the road from the beach. Beautiful new toilet block amenities and laundry. Helpful staff in the office. Close to lots of activities including sand surfing and dolphin watches. Not much in the way of shops but not too far from Soal Bay for supplies. Sites are roomy but power boxes are along way from some sites so we had to borrow one. A cute market was on Sat night when we were there.

We were previously advised that the pool was not going to be functional during our stay but we were NOT told that there was going to be construction noise right behind our "superior cabana" DURING our stay. We arrived at 2.00 to the sound of a chainsaw and it continued. It commenced at 7.04 on our first morning along with the very loud voice of one of the construction workers. At about 10.15, got text msg saying water was off "due to emergency". It was off for at least 2 hours with no further info given.

The stay was great. Wifi was crap
