We had a great two night stay at Bachareis Charmin House. The room was comfortable, Ines Marie was great at answering all of our questions (of which we had many), and the breakfast was excellent. We would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Amazing experience, and architectural story telling! Strongly recommend! Bravo!!! Delicious breakfast in a lightful livingroom with original 18th century tiles, fresh juices and pastries and good energy everywhere.

The property was charming and historically interesting. Room was comfortable with a great view. Our host was kind and helpful and there were good restaurants and shopping in easy walking distance. And the breakfast was excellent. Just what we were looking for.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Really great breakfast. Easy walk in to town. Lovely Cafe/restaurant just around the corner. Would definitely stay here again.

A beautifully restored old house with all of the modern convinces and comforts

This place is beautiful! This history and the way the original home was kept in tact as much as possible is amazing! So happy we chose this spot. The staff is first class. Every need was met and appreciated. Cannot speak highly enough.

Lovely little boutique hotel in a charming beach town just south of Porto on the West Coast of Portugal. We were not there during high season, so not much was open, but the hotel is centrally located and is probably a great location when the town is busy. the hotel is in a renovated old house and is very clean and comfortable. There is a lounge and outdoor space for guests. The proprietors are incredibly helpful and kind to guests. The absolute highlight was the breakfast, which was the best we had in Portugal - virtually everything you could want - from eggs and bacon, to pastries, to fruit and more. They even bring you hot milk so that you can make a wonderful latte. It was a great way to start our day.

We stayed recently at this beautiful hotel where we experienced an exceptional welcome, service and hospitality from all of the staff within the hotel. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable of places to visit and things to do. A stunning hotel that has undergone restoration to a very high standard. All areas of the hotel are immaculate. Our room was very comfortable with a quality bed, linen and modern bathroom suite. We were spoilt for choice at breakfast which included lots of local fresh produce and always served with a smile. We cannot recommend a visit to this hotel enough - OUTSTANDING. Needless to say we have already booked another visit for later in the year.
