다르 누르 페스(Dar Nour Fes)

We were brought to an entirely different Riad when we arrived - ver confusing. We had communicated with the owner of this Dar earlier in the day before our arrival to confirm when we would be arriving. However, when we arrived we were then told there was an 'issue' with our room and we would be staying in a completely different Riad (owned by the same owner). We booked our room at Dar Nour Fes months in advance, but were brought to an entirely different hotel right when we arrived which was a shock. The owner is a nice man - he even brought us to an amazing restaurant close to the new Riad we were staying at. But, we were unimpressed because our 'new Riad' was over a 10-minute walk through the Medina and we had quite a bit of luggage with us. On top of this, the new room was not what we had paid for at Dar Nour Fes - it was a double bed instead of a king bed, and it didn't have as good reviews online as what we had booked. Very awkward experience overall that I can't recommend - take caution when booking this accommodation.

This small riad is quite conveniently located near one of the entrance door of the Medina, in a small blind alley. It is very near to the parking lot of Bou Jeloud, so you actually don’t need a rented cart for bags if you park there (about 50 dirham for two whole days). Pay attention that nobody is at the riad normally, so it is better to stay in touch with the owner not to face a closed door when you arrive (even though when we passed by the owner’s house, he stepped out by himself). We had the suite at the first floor, quite confortable with the bathroom shared by the two rooms placed on both sides of the bathroom. Decent furnishing in the bathroom and in the rooms. Not that much space to place dresses or luggage content. You can get the entrance door key, so you can get back from your dinner anytime. Breakfast (on the roof) is wonderful. We also had an enjoyable dinner at the riad where you may have a bottle of wine as well (and the Moroccan wine may be unexpected in quality). The owner is very friendly and ready to help in any possible way, and all the hotel staff too. Not the most luxurious spot, but definitely a good choice. With some renovation, a four star mark would be deserved.

Das Riad liegt sehr zentral, nur wenige Minuten zum blauen Tor. Parkplatz ist in unmittelbarer Nähe vorhanden. WiFi funktioniert einwandfrei, alles sehr gepflegt und sauber, sehr gutes Frühstück. ABER: es gab in unserem Zimmer keine Kleiderhaken, keine Ablage für Koffer oder Bekleidung. Es gab Kleiderbügel in den kleinen Kästchen. Deshalb ein Punkt Abzug. Wir wurden vom " blauen Tor" abgeholt und sehr freundlich empfangen - bis zu dem Zeitpunkt als wir keine geführten Touren buchten.

Al nostro arrivo a Fes, la prima notizia è stata che non saremmo stati alloggiati al Dar Nour, che noi avevamo prenotato e già pagato in anticipo (a un prezzo consono per quanto offerto sulla carta), ma in una struttura attigua dello stesso proprietario, che si è rivelata però ben più scadente. La stanza assegnataci non aveva nulla del 4 stelle pubblicizzato, aveva un bagno praticamente inservibile da quanto era minuscolo, e soprattutto era senza riscaldamento. Il condizionatore non funzionava: promettendo di ripararlo al mattino, ci è stata data una stufetta elettrica già malconcia, che al primo utilizzo ha emesso una fiammata (rischiando di incendiare i bagagli e i mobili) e si è spenta. La stanza ci è stata cambiata solo 24 ore più tardi (con un'altra sempre nella struttura secondaria), durante le quali siamo stati al freddo. La ragazza che ci ha accolto è stata sempre squisitamente gentile, mortificata per i disagi e attenta alle nostre richieste. Non altrettanto si può dire del ragazzo che ci ha accompagnati il primo giorno: ci ha trattato male perché avevamo già prenotato dall'Italia le escursioni per il giorno seguente (voleva farcele cancellare e si è convinto solo quando gli ho mostrato il voucher con il pagamento già inviato). Inoltre, ha reagito male alla richiesta della colazione prima dell'escursione (ore 8, non 5.30!), dicendo che a quell'ora sarebbe stato impossibile - alla fine ho proposto io una soluzione, chiedendo di darci qualcosa di confezionato. Insomma, davvero pochi pro in questo soggiorno. Non siamo soliti lamentarci o protestare e siamo due che si adattano facilmente, ma mi pare importante segnalare ad altri viaggiatori come noi una possibile fregatura. Sconsiglio fortemente di rivolgersi a strutture che vendono una cosa e poi ne attuano una diversa! A parte ciò, la posizione era decisamente buona e la colazione (quella che siamo riusciti a ottenere il secondo giorno) abbondante e ben assortita. Si salva, al di sopra di tutto, la gentilezza della ragazza addetta all'accoglienza.

Dar bien entretenu tres bien place a l entree médina porte bleue. Beaucoup de charme une literie exceptionnelle une clim chauffage très performante. Un patron tres a l ecoute qui gere pour ses hôtes les transferts les guides et au besoin les excursions Nous sommes arrives la nuit avec plus d un heure de retard et on nous attendez. Idem pour le depart tot le matin On ne peut pas parler du Dar nour sans citer deux femmes attachantes efficaces et excellentes cuisinieres que sont mariam et sa mamam. Bravo a tous

Las cenas y los desayunos las hacen en la azotea las escaleras están peligrosas y sin barandillas Después las señoras que nos atendieron el último día al pagar una de ellas nos Pidió propina para su compañera. No me había pasado nunca El Riad muy limpio muy bien situado y muy amables tidos

Siamo andati a Fes in 7 persone e abbiamo affittato l’intera struttura. La posizione è fantastica appena fuori la porta della Medina ma in una zona molto silenziosa. La casa è molto bella, curata e pulita e Nour è un ottimo host. La colazione in terrazza è fantastica con vista sui tetti della Medina di Fes e le cuoche bravissime e super gentili. Consigliamo di provare anche la cena perché molto buona. Abbiamo preso un driver per visitare Chefchauen che davvero merita perché è una città magica. Il driver Said che ci ha consigliato Nour è stato perfetto, parlava benissimo italiano e ci siamo trovati così bene che abbiamo fatto altre experiences insieme a lui. Buona vacanza a tutti!

Au bord de la médina, proche de la porte bleue , super accueil dans cet hôtel très sympathique. Excellente cuisine faite maison. Allez-y les yeux fermés ! Une des meilleures adresses de nos deux semaines de voyage

le charme absolu des lieux, le confort des chambres, la chaleur du personnel, la finesse des plats, tout ça est à un cheveu de nous empêcher de sortir pour visiter la ville... Ah, j'oubliais la terrasse, qui par beau temps, nous laisse respirer les odeurs et jouir des sons alentours... et les nombreux escaliers ? C'est un peit plus pour rester en bonne santé physique !
