포우사다 마라빌랴 페르난두 지 노로냐(Pousada Maravilha)

A great property. View is incredible and food was very good. Special mentions to Joao, Everaldo, and Ja-ja in the restaurants who were all very personable and kind. Alexandre from the front office was also terrific. A few small service lapses which should not happen at the price point of this property, but nothing that was not remedied by the above individuals. The room was very nice, though again a few maintenance issues that should not be there given the price of the property. A final shout-out to Fernanda in reservations, who is an absolute star. I was torn between a few different pousadas, but ultimately made the decision to stay here because of Fernanda. She is a true gem, and asset to the company.

A beautiful place, with best facilities. Above all, is the beautiful team that will always aim to accommodate and attend to any need, at any time of day. The service was fantastic and it had an amazing view of Sueste Beach.

Outstanding hotel at the Sueste bay. 5 star worth of its title. Bungalows wide, comfortable and with the best of breed and bath products. An amazing view of the bay, an excelente attending and service of all the staff (kudos for Michelle for the amazing surprise that she arranged for my wife). Great restaurant with lots of choices. Best hotel in the city.

We were booked in the double room which turned out to be not part of the main facility. In fact, the rooms were part of where the servants lived, and had been designed as an "excess" place when there were many bookings. The staff were nowhere to be seen during the entire stay to solve our problems. An amazing vacation was ruined because of this hotel.

Let us talk about the good things. Great view when you walk in, and a level of seeming sophistication. Everything else, just disastrous. We were given rooms outside the main Pousada, where the staff quarters were, and right next to the road and the parking lot. There was an open sewage, fecal matter from cats, and staff smoking and gossiping every day and night. Worst case, indifferent management who just did not care - no one from the management team bothered to come and check despite several please. The hotel is over-hype and books fast due to the lack of rooms in the island. It knows it, and abuses it. Stay away from this place. Outside Brasilian FOMO type crowd, it is not for anyone else.
