Our first stay. Staff was friendly. Property is dated, a 60’s era motel setup. Front office has coffee thermos pumper, did not try the coffee. Rooms are small, shower tight, they use extension cords (unsafe) stains on walls, wallpaper peeling off, air conditioner old. Beds are comfortable. Refrigerator and microwave work. Open area for handing clothes. One drawer for other clothes. The parking is tight and limited as there were stays with multiple vehicles. We stayed on a Thursday nite and there were men outside smoking, loud, but did quiet down around 11pm. The front door is wooden with a key lock and one dated deadbolt. This hotel is close to campus and restaurants. It has seen many Penn State football, graduation, etc weekends but is quickly approaching the end if a serious remodel is not undertaken. Been going to Penn State sporting events for 43 years and thought we’d give them a try. OK for a one nighter if you’re looking for a budget stay.
