오션 호텔(Ocean Hotel)

That was a lovely stay there ! The room was amazingly cozy, rustic and sophisticated, a view directly on front of the sea which which gave a sensual feeling of an endless horizon. A Nespresso coffee machine. The bed was really comfy. The bathroom well equipped with some "Rituals" products that we love, The room is fully soundproof. We took the suite, and i expect other rooms were similar. The reception was user-friendly, great staffs ! When we arrived and when we left, you ring the bell, someone is coming. The receptionist was really nice guy, who really described everything. The restaurant ? Surprisingly good and generous food ! Large choice of food within our included 3 meals dinner. We took charcuterie plate with cheese, and other meals. The bread, we asked, and it was amazingly delicious, like just coming roasted from the oven. And the guy who was serving us ? Honestly, don't loose this guy ! He made us greatly comfortable ! We loved the hospitality. There are some play area, which makes it really convenient. The ambiance is really cozy, after dinner, there's a bar just inside. large range of ages. In 2 words, this hotel is remarkable and cozy !

Very nice hotel! Literally right on the beach. Beach view from my room and from the restaurant. Nice room, good restaurant, easy parking. I will definitely come back!

Nice hotel right on the beach. Good breakfast but dinner menu was limited to fish and foofoo dishes I could not spell. Room was clean and quiet. Stayed two nights and would stay again if in the area

The room is nice, despite the working desk is to small, my complaint is especially about the rest room, as it has a very bad odor/ smell from the sewer. It was really annoying, and wehn i complaint about it the staff said thanks for the information, in my world they should have offered me a compensation / discount for the room, unless they change attitude, i will never stay in this hotel again

I was in the Ocean Hotel several times and it is a fantastic location , with a nice restaurant , good food and sumptuous breakfast. Ich war jetzt schon mehrere Male im Ocean Hotel und es ist ein tolles Hotel mit traumhafter Lage mit zwei schönen Restaurants, hervorragendem Essen und einem üppigen Frühstück. Right on the beach. I mean literarily on the sand - Ocean hotel stands refurbished with a mix of Scandi sleek design and somewhat Bohemic decor and naturalistic tones. Breakfast is amazing and it's nice to be sitting inside but feeling one's on the beach. There are terraces to the rooms and they are really generous in size. Dinner was nice but not exceptionally good although prices were very reasonable. Oh, EV owners - Free charging avail on site. BINGO. The gym is rather small but well equipped.

After spending several days in Varberg we decided to drive down to Falkenberg to have a look around and find nice place to stay. We had no idea what to expect. We drove to a hotel B&B we had found here on TripAdvisor but didnt like the location, so, as always, we just explored. The crazy thing was we unexpectedly ended up in the coastal industrial area and was about to call it in and drive to another town when we saw a road that looked interesting and then found ourselves driving along besides the beach and all of the summer houses and beautiful residential homes. As it was my birthday, I had a wish list and right there and then we drove up to the Ocean Hotel. A quick review read confirmed this was definitely worth a look. We were happily greeted by Lena who took us on a viewing of quite a few 2nd floor rooms and gave us the choice. It was to pick the one we got. It just had the right feel and look we were used to and loved. The room was beautifully decorated in rustic tones and decorations. Beautiful African motives and earthy tones filled the room. It had everything our last hotel in Varberg did not have. There was a great deal of thought that had gone into this room and as seasoned world travelers, we could see that. The room was beautifully set up with the bed in the middle pointing towards the big balcony windows and sea view with the shoreline just 30 meters or so away. There was ample storage cupboards, an ironing board and oron, blow-dryer, Rituals wonderfully soft and aromatic showers soaps and best of all, the one thing most Swedes would require, a top of the line Breville Nespresso Pixie coffee machine. There was also a fridge and safe. The bathroom was lovely. Simple, spacious and with a very nice shower. The balcony was perfect and the sunset was an absolute surprise considering the weather had been so grey. The gods were with us on this one. As fate would have it, we were told the new dinner menu was starting tonight and it was a completely revamped concept. Cost affordable and more in line with a pub menu but good quality. Most dishes were around 100kr which we thought was brilliant. I ordered the Smash Burger and my partner in crime ordered the salmon. Both dishes were fresh and very tasty. The french fries were crispy and stayed that way. A good selection of beer complimented our meal and the bill was 350kr. That made us laugh. With Ella Fitzgerald softly playing in the background, we really could not of ask for more. From dinner we shared game of snooker and laughed ourselves silly playing on one of the Shuffle tables. We really had a wonderful evening. As for our bed, it was so soft and comfortable, Ive actually thought of buying a new bed after the sleep we had. So so good. The next morning, the early morning sunrise light on the beach was exquisite and made for some great photos. We went for a long walk along the beach collecting shells and then made our way to the breakfast buffet which we found quite yummy. Nothing extra

Hotellet som helhet var väldigt trevligt, med ett trevligt mottagande, en utmärkt frukostbuffé och två fina middagsalternativ. Välj dock inte ett rum med tillägget "Petit". Sängen var ganska liten och dessutom intill väggen. Av något skäl gillar jag inte att sova längs med vägg. Ett större minus var diskohålligånget i restaurangen under oss på lördagkvällen. Dunkadunket höll oss vakna långt in på natten.
