Great rate, friendly staff, close to Cahokia mounds and not too far from late-night food, all-in-all this is an excellent place to stay. They even provide complimentary snacks and water, which is a great touch!

We choose this hotel because it seemed to be the only one available as we were there in a weekend the Cardinals were in town. Upon arrival the front desk clerk seemed to be having a hard time understanding we needed ONE room with TWO beds. We had to reiterate this to him over and over. Then he charged us 142 dollars plus a 25 dollar deposit for a room that had a very large hole in the bathroom. We were traveling with kids and that hole was not safe for them to be in the bathroom. The room smelled very bad and it was dirty. Lamp shade had stains on it, no fitted sheets on bed only a top sheet they were using as a fitted sheet. There was also a hole in the ceiling in the bathroom and there were dead bugs in the floor. Went to go address this with the office and the guy was very rude. Also the faucet knob in the shower fell off and cut my ankle. Very displeased especially with the amount they were charging.

The worst Hotel I have ever stayed in for 7 hours. This hotel has promising pictures and rates but dont fall for it. 1. I checked in to the hotel paid the $100 deposit on 7/31/2023. 2. The room (Room 26) had a very musty smell. 3. Exposed extension cables ran incorrectly in front of the desk. I didn't physically stay in the room for more than 3-4 hours after touring STL. I fell asleep at about 12 am and woke up with extremely irritated skin. I look in the mirror and notice hives all over the right side of my body. After flipping through the sheets i notice a few bugs still on the sheet with a brownish/red stain. I then take a picture and go to show my skin reaction to whatever was biting me. The employee Scott is then defensive and telling me I cant get another room. I didn't threaten anyone or destroy anything . He would not tell me when I would be able to get a refund. When I called he was prepared because the first thing he mentioned is that he looked at the footage of me coming in the office. Needless to say , they have done this before. He said there would be an investigation and to call the next day. The next day I call and he says it would take weeks. He also said I need proof that i was bitten by a bed bug. This hotel is setup to take your money. They dont care about you or your well being. They wouldnt even give me another room. I slept better in my car at the truck stop. Please if this is your only option, sleep in your car.

The only thing good that came out of this visit was the night manager Scotty. He was polite, courteous and friendly. Went above and beyond. I can’t say that about the lady who works in the day time. First of all she uses found language, she uses racial slurs and most of all she smells like a cesspool. She had a bad attitude also. If we return, it will only be because of the service we received from Scotty. He treated us like we were family and that lady treated us like we were an inconvenience to her. We came in to check k out, she was sitting down watching something on her iPad. It took her at least 5 minutes to even get up and acknowledge us.

Always willing to accommodate any inconveniences!! Older motel but the staff is very personal and makes it a great place to stay!! You can’t beat it for the price!!

Everything the room I was staying in had roaches no trash can service was terrible had to get my room card redone everyday. Will not stay there again wasn't worth the money

The hotel is in a nice, quiet spot with easy access to the highway. The grounds are clean. I enjoyed the goodie bag when I checked in. The room was nicely updated; all new paint, appliances, etc. it was very clean. The only downside was the room was quite sp****. There was a bed and that was all there was for furniture. There was no place to sit unless you sat on or in the bed. There was definitely room for a nice sofa chair or two. There also were no nightstands; no place to set a phone or cup, etc. Also, there was no plug at the sink to use any sort of grooming supplies. Not game changers, just room tomorrow the comfort of the stay. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised how nice and modern the room was.

Did not have a bedside table or desk ir anything to sit our phones or belongings on , had to sit them on the floor .
