Gorgeous retreat in nature. Rooms are large and well designed, with lots of interesting details and a big outside terrace. The staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the hotel facilities and the area. The spa is small but very welcome especially in December when outdoor pools are too cold for most. Would love to return in the summer when there are so many more experiences to enjoy.

Basic Luxury hotel. Nice young staff , need to see staff with more experience, spa facilities need improvements especially in the changing rooms. Necessities are missing. Shower caps, body cream, hair dryer,cotton pads etc Ambience in the indoor pool and spa should be more aesthetic and spa treatment rooms to be isolated from external noise.

We were there as a gift from our kids. After one month in the beach ir was a lovely idea, Very good location the hotel and the opportunity to know nearby towns ( don’t miss Vila Viçosa) The service was impeccable and very good advice were to go Very comfortable room Good breakfast The inside pool is good and also the sauna and the little gymnasium

Excellent location, beautiful landscape. The hotel is fabulous, a great choice if you want to relax. Rooms are great, spacious and with all the necessary amenities. The swimming pools are very good, the contemplation spots are very original and cozy. You can really relax with the quietness and with the surroundings.

The hotel has both an indoor and outdoor pool and farm animals which my grandkids enjoyed. However, the service from check in to check out is terrible. It appears that there is no management or invisible management. You will wait and wait and wait. Your food will sit waiting to be served and no one will serve it. Your luggage won't arrive in your villa. No one will show you where your villa is located (and it's a big property). Towels at the pool? Maybe. Want a drink at the bar? Maybe. Coffee in the morning? Maybe.

This hotel could easily be 5/5 but falls short on a few important points. Good - - peaceful environment - friendly staff - excellent food - great kids club Could be better - - Only one outside pool is heated and this is for adults only. This does unfortunately render the remaining outside pools unusable for most the year. This included our villa pool which got used once in 6 days as it was too cold. There’s no excuse for the main outdoor pools and villa pools not being heated. - There is a slight smell of drains around the hotel, including around our villa pool and sometimes inside the villa. This is off putting. - There is only one restaurant here and the menu didn’t change during our stay. They could perhaps do some specials. - our stay was shortened by one night as the hotel sold our room to someone else to facilitate a large group. They did put us up elsewhere for a night but this was obviously not what we wanted and took the shine off the start of our trip.

A beautifully clean, white painted, somewhat sterile hotel located in the countryside. It has good facilities and I can see it being a good family retreat. However beware various dangerous five foot drops that have no balustrade!!! I could easily have ended up in hospital - or worse.

We had a lovely relaxed weekend in Octant Evora. No luck with the weather, but we have the goal to get there again in the Summer. The restaurant of the Hotel and the spa treatments were overpriced comparing with what he saw in the region.
