The best hotel in Evora

Location is excellent. Room clean and tidy. Peaceful outlook to rear garden/city walls. Only issue some of the electricity sockets fused. Friendly staff put that right straight away. Lunches excellent value and tasty. Staff friendly and helpful.

We had a delightful stay in this grand hotel. It is within the historic city walls of Evora. It allows for easy exploration of the historic city on foot. The hotel is clean and well cared for. Our sleeping rooms were large and well decorated. Our rooms overlooked the beautiful pool area, though unfortunately extended rain kept us from using the pool. The front desk and bar staff we friendly and informative about Evora and the hotel. We appreciated that in addition to Portuguese they also English. We appreciated the availability of covered parking. The included breakfast was tasty, fresh and generous.

Then you are in for a treat. Spacious is the first word that comes to mind here. But excellent breakfast. In March we could only get heat so we opened the window to cool off the room 👍 Clean and nicely decorated. Looks like many groups book here.

I stayed here as part of a tour with Globus. The hotel is well located within the medieval walls of this charming town. It’s an easy walk to the Roman ruins and main square. The decor and ambience is very nice. Hotel is spotless and staff are very accommodating. We enjoyed the area out by the pool having drinks and good. It’s a great place to stay in Evora

We booked a different suite than they gave us. They didn't adjust the price which was very disappointing. The woman responsible at the reception was unfriendly, had a sarcastic smile on her face and no feeling for customer service. Ugly view to the parking place which is full of rats. You will wake up in the morning at 6am because of noise from laundry delivery over cobble stones and garbage collection. Very disappointing in total. wouldnt recommend anyone

A quaint hotel which is done in a old country style way. The rooms are pretty with antique kind of furniture and the bathrooms are modern. The breakfast is basic . The dinner we had overlooking the pool had some portugese local food and desserts. A 5 minute walk to the centre of town and the cathedral. Has a lovely old world charm to it

Lovely property by the ancient city walls in gardens with adult pool, separate pool for children. Hotel pleasing architecture and design. Floor 2 best for quiet rooms. Staff welcoming and helpful. The hotel welcomes groups which can put pressure on the hotel. Good seating areas inside and outside the hotel.
