The Albergaria do Calvário staff were kind and very helpful and the location is right within the Heritage site where you can walk to all Evora’s historical places. The king suite is very spacious and it included 2 large sofas, mini fridge, free water and toiletries. The king size bed is soft and very comfortable. This is a very clean hotel and it has an underground parking.

Do not hesitate to book this hotel. The staff were the most friendly, explaining everything we needed to know about Évora, arranging breakfast and helping us get a last minute highly coveted reservation for dinner. Thanks again Joao! The room and hotel were beautiful, enjoyed our sunset view, with all the amenities. Parking was very easy. We loved Evora.

A very nice hotel in a perfect location for exploring Evora. Parking in the garage below was perfect. Breakfast was very good. I would stay here again.

Great location and close to many attractions. We especially liked settling in after a long day and having a simple easy dinner in the lounge area, after so many weeks of eating out at restaurants and walking around towns. Staff was really helpful. Underground parking was tricky but if you can get a spot, a few "five point turns" will get you there.

The hotel was in the city and walking distance to many sights in Evora. It also had parking available, which was great. It had a nice breakfast, lounge and sitting area and the rooms were spacious and well-appointed. The staff were very helpful.

Hotel is convenient to the historic area of Evora. The room was quiet, the bed and bedding comfortable, and it has a tub. Plenty of space. Breakfast had something to please most guests.

Welcoming and excellent facility. Especially the peaceful night. The upgrade was unexpected but appreciated for tired travellers.

Our suite was wonderful in so many ways - roomy, lovely furniture, well-designed (there is a day-bed in the living room, for additional accommodation). The only negatives were the rugs on either side of the bed, which needed cleaning and were a bit slippery (even though they were anchored under the heavy nightstands). The grass mat in the living room also needs cleaning/to be changed. Also, the folding shower door, easily moved, allowed water to flow onto the floor. Breakfast is included, and it was very good (if you want espresso, ask the breakfast attendant - the maker is behind the check-in desk). The location is very quiet - it is just inside the city walls. Beautifully maintained. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

This place is outstanding! Hugo is an incredible person, my wife had a very bad cut in her knee that got badly infected. Hugo in charge of the reception took care of us as we were family! Calling everyone possible, plus once we got help he was checking on her as a brother. Plus the rest of the staff , took care of helping us the breakfast, which is wonderful, had her choices ready. Diego who after Hugo went home was the same. I cannot find words to describe how much we appreciate this place . Thanks 🙏 my dear friends. Saul and Carla
