Villa Le Blanc Gran Melia

One of the best hotels overall I have stayed in! The 2 bedroom suite was so luxurious, modern, comfortable, spacious and wonderful. All of the staff were so welcoming and lovely. Oliver and Carmen were both so helpful without being overbearing. They seemed like they appeared out of nowhere every time we had a question or needed anything. The woman who checked us in, the female concierge and the valet (sorry I can’t remember your names!) were all so nice and helpful as well!! The location is stunning with views in every direction and sunset unreal. We loved the access to the beach path and hiking trail. The options for poolside seating (chairs, cabanas, daybeds, etc) are endless and luxurious. The food was delicious. Especiallly the mussels, fish and dessert we had at the nicest restaurant. Breakfast is extensive. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you! We will be back!!

One of my favorite hotels. The staff are all incredibly friendly & efficient. Restaurant options are adequate; good service. Breakfast buffet is endless. Good selection of wines. Beautiful breeze and views from the restaurant. Desserts are hit or miss.

The hotel was excellent. Well appointed and in an ideal location. Overall, the service was first class, BUT the hotel’s policy of using QR codes throughout the resort spoilt the experience. In particular, the restaurants were very reluctant to provide paper copies of the menu and wine lists. There were very few paper copies available, and no copies available for cocktails; the restaurant is described as “fine dining”, and as such, I don’t expect to be trying to download the menu onto my phone. In fact, I prefer not to take my phone to the meal table, as I would rather talk with my fellow diners rather than spend time on my phone. Furthermore, I have an eye condition, which means I cannot read my phone in bright light. I did raise this with reception, but they pretty much told me to get over it as it was all to do with their green policy and saving the planet. As a result, we visited other restaurants and bars that were much more flexible. Which was a shame because once we could work out what was on offer, the food at the resort was excellent.

This was our second holiday to Villa Le Blanc (May 2023, June 2024), staying in the same room type (Ocean Suite with Terrace Tub - Room 110). My partner and I really enjoyed it once again. A good location (centre south of the island), about 30 mins taxi (35 Euro) to Ciutadella to the west and the same to go to Mahon (east). There's also some great hikes (1-2 hours) to other small beaches along the south coast that are worth doing through the forest trail areas and also a great spot to watch a sunset to the left of the hotel. In general, the hotel is immaculate and incredibly clean with a beautiful design, the food is good and the staff have always been great to us and can't do enough to help us or arrange bookings, trips, taxis etc. This time we booked the private boat trip which was fantastic, just me and my partner, accompanied by a Captain (Juan Pablo - who was incredible). We were transferred to Mahon and explored the north side of the island, visiting small coves and beaches, anchoring up and jumping in the sea all afternoon. I would highly recommend this if you can afford to do it. As well as Juan Pablo, we would like to give a thanks in particular to Ab and Alvaro (part of the Guest Experience team) who were always incredibly polite and couldn't do enough to help us (as was the same in 2023). We would also like to give a special thanks to Oliver who also provided us with a fantastic service all holiday, having a great laugh, great conversation and teaching us some Spanish as well as making sure everything was going well with our stay (again, just as in 2023). The consistency of service and friendliness of these staff in particular make us keep wanting to come back, so thank you! No time to show us around ! my husband and I celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and we called into the hotel 6th June for a drink we arranged a viewing @ 3pm the next day and were staying at a hotel close by . We arrived for our appointment to be told they had no time to show us around ??? why ask us to arrive at 3pm the next day if no rooms to view or staff to show us round ??? You only get one chance at a 1st good impression !

The hotel looks fantastic and the location was ideal for us, providing dramatic sunsets and , in most rooms, enchanting sea views. However, this is not always enough but I'm delighted to say the service in the hotel is impeccable, the hotel is spotless and the food is excellent. I try to write reviews that acknowledge the staff in a hotel where I've stayed. I can't name everyone in this hotel but it would be no exaggeration to name everyone I met. Unfortunately I can remember only a few names. Not surprisingly, the people I remember most are those I met first. Of course first impressions are very important and the staff here did not disappoint, specifically Carlos, Manuel and Chele. Please accept my apologies that I could name name more people. I will definitely return to this hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The highlight was the exceptional service provided by the staff. I particularly appreciated the assistance of Concierge Antonia, whose restaurant recommendations were superb, and Marcelo, who arranged a fantastic sea view room that I suspect will be the deciding factor in our returning to Villa Blanca very soon.

Great service, outstanding new facility and room… very confortable bed I went with my wife to celebrate our 10th year weadding anniversary and it was great! I wish i have spent more time there. Everything was amazing and they do everything to make your stay as pleasent as possible

Our stay at Villa Le Blanc was nothing short of magical. To be sure, the scenery was beautiful and Menorca is such a special place, but what makes Villa Le Blanc stand out are the amazing people that work there. Carmen and Luigi were true stand outs — always going the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect and that we had the best time. I’ve never seen anyone care more than they do - we felt like family! Recommendations were on point and we were able to leave having done everything we wanted! Don’t sleep on the food (amazing! I am still dreaming of the salmon appetizer) or the accommodations (a dream). Our family will be back for sure and we lucky to have spent the time we did in perfect Menorca.
