유 & 더 시(You and the Sea)

The hotel building itself is excellent. The rooms are modern and spacious, the facilities are overall very good, and it’s in a great location. But for the money, the staff are woefully inept and undertrained, and this spoilt the whole experience for us. The first day was ruined by the multiple ways in which they messed up the car rental, resulting in two expensive taxi rides, only one of which they offered to pay for. Multiple times I had to point out the Turkish bath timer had turned off. The restaurant staff knew nothing about the menus (neither the food nor the wine), which resulted in confusion and mistakes every time we ate. We were only there for four days, but by the end we were looking for any excuse to get out of the hotel to avoid any more debacles. Thoroughly disappointed with the whole experience. Fixing the issues above would turn it into a real gem, but as it was, we feel ripped off considering how much we spent.

Great weekend experience for our family ! Relaxing and discovering the beauty of Ericeira and Portugal ! Only 45 min from the center of Lisbon, but you find yourself in a wonderful place, detached from any urban pressure; and YouAndTheSea was a great choice, nice hotel, nice apar**ent with a great view and a fantastic spa area, along with a great outside : pools, skate park, event park, football space. Our family found everything we needed

This hotel was great! The rooms were extremely comfortable and spacious. We are a family of 5 and the three bedroom was more than big enough for all of us. I loved the private access to go down to the beach so we didn't have to walk on the side of the road. The staff was pretty good too.

A great place to stay with a family. Our apar**ent was huge! Good pool. Good staff. The food in the restaurant is pretty good although the pizzas are a bit heavy to digest - they could improve the dough! I could only manage a half! The location is just on the outskirts of Ericeira - about a 10 min walk.

Great hotel, and fantastic service by the hotel team who are friendly and helpful, e.g. to find and book nice restaurants. Location is great, next to the beach and walking distance to the town. Good restaurant, and great wines and cocktails served.

This place is beautiful! Especially with kids. The apar**ent has everything you need, the breakfast was delicious. The swimming pool, playroom and gym are very handy. Enjoyed the sauna and steam bath. Very close to the sea and great surf. Our family would like to live here for a month hahaah.

The hotel is very good, well located, spacious rooms, great ocean view and clean. Breakfast was very good. The only negative point is the gym. It's small, dark, not organized, few and poor quality aerobic equipments, specially the indoor bike.

Crisp comfy bed, clean apar**ent, bathrooms and linens, lovely restaurant (I wish the menu switched up a bit), and an enclosed pool in a greenhouse type room that worked well as the weather was overall not very cooperative. But when it was nice out, we enjoyed a complimentary skate session at the property’s skate ramp! Just didn’t like the shampoo/conditioner, made my hair feel like straw. Lovely staff who were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for everything!

The pillows really are amazing. Our second time and not the last. Our go to place in Portugal. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond. The location couldn’t be more ideal. Steps from a lovely beach, just a 10 minute walk to old town and plenty of activities. Love the convenience of bar and restaurant. Excellent breakfast. The price is per apar**ent and apar**ents are large and fully equipped. Just wonderful!
