Kasbah Hotel Chergui

This hotel is quite traditional. It’s been a long time since I’ve slept with a sheet , blanket and bedspread. As a couple we were given two small double beds. The room was very dark but quiet and the air con worked well. The bathroom was separated into three areas which was quite good. I’ve just found every shower I’ve come across in Morocco to be installed way too high and not adjustable. The food in the restaurant was average both at dinner and breakfast and the girl that served us very rude. There was no hot food at breakfast apart from scrambled eggs. The outdoor pool area is very nice.

Beautiful grounds and a nice pool. We stayed one night on our way to the Sahara. The beds were comfortable and spacious and the air conditioner worked well. Meals were buffet and plentiful. Desserts were few. The dinner buffet was very good but just the opposite for breakfast. The bread was stale and some was like leather.

The hotel was located away from anything else plus the rooms were located in a separate building, so you have to walk outside to get to the restaurant. There was an outside pool with many seating options. Near the restaurant, there was a gift shop which was opposite of the front desk. The food at the restaurant was good. It was a buffet, so you had many choices.

Excellent place to stay. Long bus ride to get here but we were comfortable in our room. Comfortable bed. nice bath with decent towels. Breakfast was pleasant -- a little too much bread, but ....... Pool, nice gift shop, very pleasant. Highly recommend.

This is a large hotel with huge capacity, but our group found itself almost alone there. Hence, it was a peaceful experience to swim in the large pool and relax on the patio. Our room was colorful and equipped with an enormous bed. The room was spacious and clean. A small fridge was useful to keep the water cool. The restaurant served an impressive, varied and colorful buffet at all meals, and alcoholic drinks could also be ordered. Service was also excellent from attentive staff.

Located on the outskirts of Erfoud, sits this oasis. Beautiful grounds that are lush and spacious. The rooms are large and reminiscent of adobe southwest USA. We had dinner twice at the hotel, very nice buffet that changed each night. Also the breakfast buffet was very good. Very attentive staff. One of the few hotels that had a separate bar with entertainment.

We stayed in Chergui Hotel when visiting the Morocco Desert, during January 2023. Cold during the night, nice during the day. Great hotel, rooms really big, warm after turning on AC, bathroom cold and very big, it felt more like a club shower room it was so big. Loved it..

We had some absolutely gorgeous and luxurious accommodations up to this point of our trip, so perhaps I’m judging this space unfairly. The grounds are beautiful! A spacious pool setting was an excellent space to enjoy our fellow travelers after a very long day. The restaurant had some of our best food across the whole trip. It’s served buffet-style and was enjoyed by those of us who were new to Moroccan cuisine as well as some who were well-versed. The service was excellent. They offer beer and wine in the buffet area, and you can go to the bar for cocktails. It was clear from looking around that this hotel services many, many large tour groups. If you want something more intimate, look elsewhere. The rooms were not excellent. They were perfectly fine. Our room was clean and spacious, but our friends said their room was not; loose hairs on the sheets is an example. The pillows were terrible and the sheets themselves were not soft. To at least giver the impression of cleanliness, I prefer all white linens and these beds had colorful spreads, which I found off-putting. The bar was bright, loud and perhaps it was in-keeping with the local desert culture, but to those of us from Texas, both it and the gift shop felt a lot like touristy Mexico or a road-side attraction hotel. They were drawbacks and I’d steer clear of them. Just focus on the beauty of the pool area.
