We chose this Guest House as it was great to park and walk into town. BUT I should have believed the bad reviews! The reception area was scruffy and stank of old smoke (despite No Smoking signs) There were papers on the counter with very personal details on them, so no privacy (although no proper check-in, just a key- fob that said breakfast was NOT included -5 emails said it was). When we asked we got a very dismissive reply from the lady who turned her back on us, walked away very quickly and muttered something about sorting it out in the morning. She led us up 2 flights to a scruffy attic room, despite e mail saying 'ground floor' (a random child had also been included in the price.) When we got back from our meeting at 9.15 pm everywhere was locked up, including the bar and no lights on anywhere. We decided to leave, as it was so depressing and didn't feel safe. I wonder if a fire-officer has checked recently? A display said it had AA 5* ????? Our photos tell a different story....

Wow, what an amazing day. So lucky to have been able to have our Wedding hosted by Poets House. We couldn’t have asked for more. Christine, Sara and all the team were fabulous. The service we received from all the staff was friendly, informative and helpful. At no point did it feel like it was too much trouble. The food was delicious, a number of our guests commented that it was the best wedding meal they have ever had. We cannot thank Poets House for helping to make our day the best. 엘리 중심에 자리한 이 하우스보트에 머무실 경우 5분 정도 걸으면 주빌리 정원 및 워터사이드 앤티크 센터에 가실 수 있습니다. 이 하우스보트에서 바빌리온 갤러리까지는 0.7km 떨어져 있으며, 0.8km 거리에는 테드 코니스 패밀리 포트레이츠도 있습니다.시설 내에서 무료 셀프 주차 이용이 가능합니다.주방에는 냉장고 등의 시설이 갖춰져 있습니다. 평면 TV가 구비되어 있어 지루하지 않게 시간을 보내실 수 있습니다. 욕조 또는 샤워 시설이 포함된 욕실에서는 헤어드라이어도 이용 가능합니다. 커피/티 메이커, 다리미/다리미판 등의 편의 시설 및 서비스를 활용할 수 있다는 것도 큰 장점이죠.

This has to be one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in many a year. We arrived 2 hours early and were given key to the room and a very nice young lady showed us the way and explained the facilities. The evening meals were excellent, portions very good and excellent quality food and drink, the lad who served us was pleasant and always smiling. Lovely nights sleep was followed by a super english breakfast and real coffee. What a way to finish the stay. We had a walk around the grounds and it is plain to see the grounds have been lovingly tendered with great furniture etc. We will be back.
