Although very basic, the athena were very clean. Bedding and towels changed every 2 days. Very friendly owner. Absolutely fine for a base. Excellent position in the planos part of tsilivi. Would return

If you're looking for a clean, friendly hotel on a budget this is perfect. Accommodation is basic no frills but is clean, tidy and comfortable. The additional bed is a proper bed rather than a camp bed, balcony, small kitchen, shower etc. Location is ideal, right by the beach and opposite Alamis hotel with free use of their pool. The owners are friendly and go out of their way to help. The only downside is no WiFi

Amazingly clean boutique modern condo with coffee machine fridge AC is freezing, bkfst available, parking is included and safe, nice owners, great bedrooms, everything is in perfect and working condition!! What a gem!! Literally all the restaurants. Shopping, grocery, bakeries, boar cruises, beach is within very short walk!! Definitely coming back! Thanks!!

Extremely clean and quiet property in superb location. Accommodating family-owned rental property. Rare two bedroom unit is perfect for families.

As customers we have a legitimate right to discuss charges even of a few dollars. We were discussing with the property owner discrepancies between our legitimate ********** booking and his own calculations. The owner was rude and called us “Gypsies” for disputing few euros. More importantly, he opened the gate of the property and shouted at us to leave, even though we had a good intention to pay our fair cost. Don’t go there. Not worthy.

Comfy place for our short one night stay. Great to have off street free parking!

Outdated room. Need of new bed. Noisy area. Seems the owner family lives upstairs & the noise. Bathroom is small and water just goes everywhere. Holidays are supposed to be of memories not disappointed and horrible accommodation. The sheets on the bed felt like they had been washed a million times and so worn out. Kitchenette is old. Can’t cook what you want. Just staple boil an egg.

Firstly I have a great affinity with Greece and her islands and have visited many of them. I ave also visited two other properties on this trip,(reviewed on trip adviser). I make sure that I always write a balanced review from my perspective. There are some real positives about this accommodation, for example, it is really close to the shops and restaurants of the harbour and the parking is really convenient and free which when you consider the charge for parking in Nidri is a real plus. The small garden at the side of the property I am sure would be good to sit and read in and there is a small library on the first floor. Check in was quick and easy. The rooms were clean and the balcony ran across both parts of the room. Slippers and tooth brush were a nice touch. However, it is on the wrong side of town for the main beach and unless you have a car this would entail a long and inconvenient walk. It seems to be placed differently on the website we booked on which I will be pointing out to them. Therefore I would suggest this only as a base from which to travel by car to other parts of the island. The room itself was sold as a double but was in fact two single beds pushed together. Most uncomfortable for us. There was a coffee maker and kettle plates and cups etc but no sink or hotplate so couldnt cook or wash up. The tables on the balcony are too small to eat at. There was a small table in the room with a great big no smoking thing on it which when the cleaner came in she kept standing up again. I do not smoke and do not need this objectionable thing in my face at all times. The bathroom was small but the shower was so small it was claustrophobic. I am quite tall and a size 14 so medium build but it was impossible to bend down if you dropped the soap and the water was either really cold or really hot. The air conditioning was adequate but quite noisy and no use whatsoever if the cleaner left all the windows and doors open. The view from the room was of a half built building and the car park for the town. On check out a lovely grandmotherly lady came to check us out. She asked if everything had been olright and I explained some of the issues we had had however she kept repeating all ok. I understood when she stated she did not speak any English. Therefore this is my first chance to give my balanced feedback ad I hope it is useful to you when booking.

We have always stayed across the road at a hotel but to be honest this was just as good, quiet, clean and worth every penny. The family who run it are very friendly and if you need anything just ask them. Will definitely be returning again 👍
