렉싱턴 인 & 스위트-엘긴(Lexington Inn & Suites NW Chicago Elgin)

Excellent!services….New management very friendly staff…we are happy to stay in Lexington inn and suites Elgin Illinois very clean hotel lobby and room also very clean…new bedding and newly renovated hotel..

I booked a room with Lexington Inn and Suites NW Chicago Elgin for one night stay on 10/22/21. When my partner and I arrived the property looked nothing like the pictures on the booking site, the pictures are clearly outdated; likely from a time when the hotel was under different management. We also learned upon arrival that they did not offer breakfast although their website says they do. When we got to our room we found there were large stains all over the sheets (see picture) and hair in the bed. Clearly the bedding had not been cleaned, the sheets had not been changed. We immediately went back down to the desk to ask for clean sheets and they told us they could not provide us with different (clean) sheets... so then they offered us a different room, I said that was fine “I just want clean sheets.” When we got to the new room we were disappointed, it was just as bad. There were stains and a cigarette burn on the bedding and white stains on the furniture in the room. We went back down to the desk and spoke to the manager, who said all they could do for us was offer to have us take a look at another room. After seeing two rooms in a row that we could not sleep in due to the state of the bedding and and unsettling stains on the furniture, I said all I want is a clean place to sleep but it doesn’t seem like they can offer that. I showed the front desk staff pictures of the bedding in the rooms they had given us and asked if he would want to sleep there and he agreed it was unacceptable. My partner and I left the hotel disappointed, we just couldn’t stay there, we cut our trip short and drove home at 10:30pm rather than stay in that filth. Before we left I asked the manager for a number to call to request a refund, he said there is no number, there are no refunds. I asked for a number to call to complain about the conditions of the hotel, he said I don’t know you booked online you tell me. I understand there is a no refund policy but we did not get what was promised online when we booked. We could not even stay there due to the conditions of the rooms. I feel I have been scammed. If you do decide to stay here also be warned when we pulled up there were multiple shadow characters hanging out in the parking lot. Right after leaving I called the site I booked through and told them about my experience, I didn’t want anyone else to call for this scam, and they offered to call the hotel and request an exception to the no refund policy. They called me back a few minutes later and said the manager was not in when they called and they would call again on Monday... we had just spoken to the manager 10 minutes ago at the hotel. I’m not saying don’t book here, but if you do book here do not expect what is shown in the photos. Do not expect a clean room or even clean bedding. I would recommend you bring some disinfectant spray and try not to think about where the different yellow and white stains came from. And don’t expect your money back even when they flat

I felt extremely uncomfortable the entire time I was in that building. Nothing was clean and it smelled like sweat and rubber, almost like a roller rink or a hockey rink. One of the rooms next to us had a sheet put under the door and it was like that the entire time we where there, the cleaning lady skipped over the room itself. They falsely advertised breakfast on their website, there is none. The room itself was disgusting. The bathroom didn't have any toilet paper in it other than the half roll that was left from the people before us. The water pipes where exposed in the bathroom and the soap in the shower and the sink where in crusted covered dispensers. The lamp shades in the room where all broken and the bed looked like the sheets hadn't been changed. We slept in the car and got a different room for the second night even though they wouldn't give me my money back. -10/10 do not stay here you will regret it and loose your money.

Very disappointing. I wasn’t expecting tons for the price but the room was bad. The drawers in the dresser were gross. The comforter was stained. The bench by the bed was stained. The whole room desperately needed painting. The grout in the tub was falling out. The weather ***** on the mini fridge was falling off, you had to hold it up so you could shut the door. Also I thought it was extremely unsafe that the rear door to the hotel was unlocked. The card access was apparently broken. Oh yes, someone ran into the overhang outside of the office, and a large pillar was leaning, and the whole corner of the overhang was held up by two two by fours. They didn’t have the area blocked off. Oh yes, the pool was down, and there was no continental breakfast. I’m not sure what the $5 “resort” fee was for!

A/c and or heater was not working good Shower was very slow Not very clean no service nasty place to stay here

My stay ******, first of all the place was a dump...and second the guy didnt understand me he was from India..I asked for a wash cloth and he never gave me any then I asked for another towel because the ones I had were nasty and stained so bad. The bed was horrible. One room had cable and the other had Hulu. I wanted a room with cable and the guy never helped me, he ignored my request. I will NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN EVER!!

There were stains on the bed sheets, the bathtub had rust, there was a used bar of soap left behind. The bathroom had holes on the shower head and the clínex box on the wall. I talked to management about the issues and asked if we could get another room, he removed the used bar of soap and said there you can still use it, I mention to him that the bathtub had rust and it looked, he kept On telling me that it was ok after going back and forth he finally said ok you’ll get another room. My wife whose pregnant and I shouldn’t be dealing with a dirty room and still argue that it’s ok for the room to be in such conditions and wanting us to stay in a dirty room. I will never go back and don’t recommend it.

This is the worst hotel I have booked. Avoid! The check-in process was far below disappointing. The lady was rude and was on speakerphone while checking me in. There was no greeting. Not even a simple “thank you”. The room was a disaster. Mold in the tub, stains on the bench, pillow cases that weren’t exchanged, discolored towels, desk lamp didn’t work, no soaps, filthy carpeting, and a very foul smell. I decided to checkout and reserved a room at the Mainstay in Hoffman Estates. The difference was incomparable.

No electric in some part . No clean bathroom No clean blankets, no clean carpet, etc
